Lucky and unlucky Scratch-off ticket numbersReply
Hi - someone bought #007 while I was Christmas shopping. But it might have lost since 3 of the 4 I bought were winners. It seems there are a couple games where #007 can win (Platinum Payout, and I won $15 on it on Money Money Money,) but it almost always loses for me. I have one win in LOTS of attempts on it. I'm glad you took a break to reset - I'm having a smaller day tomorrow. I think your theory about unlucky numbers having big ones is true to an extent - I never win on #55 on the $5 and $10

I said you *can* be at a disadvantage buying just 1 ticket if there are a lot of win chasers and ticket hawks at that store. Unfortunately, those tactics can work,(especially for sneaky store clerks) but not in guaranteeing a win, just minimizing losses. I should clarify that 4 to 8 tickets (odds or double odds) to say that you should buy that many if needed, but stop when you get a win. It all helps! Here's a shocker I figured out. In order to turn a profit and give away the occaisional big prize. MOST of the rolls of tickets for any game are sour , that is, no big winners. If the software or whoever distributes the rolls has determined the sour rolls go to your local store, you'll be wasting your money sadly hoping to win. Thank you very much for sharing your story too cjs811, i can tell it was a happy moment. I scratch in my car often too i guess its common, of course i scratch with it locked id like to meet a person who doesn't . I'd be distracted too driving after finding a big win. I'm sure your son would be more worried about you if anything happened but its good he knows about your big win. Hope you keep getting big wins!

So if you get a big win you going to just cash it in or you going to scratch off how you got the win? I used to only because i was in a time crunch and playing to just a get a win and stop. I learned from Cape to make sure you double check before tossing em, there is a possibility of tossing a winner esp scanning multiple and at a rushed pace .
