The website still doesn't show a photo but the overall odds are 1:3.69 . I initially thought that was way high until I saw there is no $50 prize. $75 is the smallest prize to be won. I also heard the cut length is the same as crossword tickets and looks to have a few bonus spots. Top prize is 5 Million, but the next largest amount is $500,000 .. Then the 3rd highest prize is only $25K. Would have been nice to have some larger non jackpot prizes.
$5 Million Money Maker is a $50 game that offers 5 top prizes of 5,000,000. When any of YOUR NUMBERS match any WINNING NUMBER, win prize shown under the matching number. Reveal a "MONEY ROLL" (MNYRL) symbol, win prize shown under that symbol automatically. Reveal a "$500 BURST" (WIN$500) symbol, win $500 instantly. Reveal a "VAULT" (WINALL) symbol, win all 30 prizes shown. Reveal a "FIVE MIL" ($5MIL) symbol, win $5 MILLION instantly!
STAR BONUS: Reveal a "$1,000 BURST" (WIN1K) symbol, win $1,000 instantly. Reveal a "20X" (20TIMES) or a "50X" (50TIMES) symbol, multiply any prize won in the main play area below!
CASH BONUS: Reveal a cash prize amount in any BONUS spot, win that amount instantly! CASH BONUS is played separately.

Hi Omiller35, greetings from FL.
Interesting for sure to see that PA is rolling out a $50 game. There's been rumors of one coming here in FL but nothing so far. This state's lottery has a habit of introducing top denomination games ($30 here) every Feb, so maybe 2022 will be the year for a $50 game, we'll see.
I found an image of the PA $50 game here in this news letter of sorts (see page 4):
Looks like the Star Bonus (where it appears, from the odds table/game info link you posted, all the big action happens) is at the top of the ticket, followed by the number match section in the majority middle, and then the cash bonus section anchoring things on the bottom.
Glancing at the data table, in terms of middle prize odds, it seems the game is set up for $1000 wins. When I took a look-see compare against existing FL games and adjusting/scaling for $ denomination differences it seems to beat any game here for $1,000, and the $500 was also favorable against most games. Of course the upfront buy-in on the PA $50 game is where the risk is, as theoretically with 1/3.69 odds a player can expect to lose $150 before hitting pay-dirt.
Perhaps if I get a little spare time while on use/lose leave this week I'll work up a $ prize compare of the PA $50 game vs a FL I'm aware of ($10 Cash Club, with a top prize of $1M, so scales nicely 5/1 against each other - at least in ticket price and top prize).
To me, finally, one of the ultimate measures of a game is the % return. Does PA post anywhere how many total tickets have been ordered?...or post total/remaining number of prizes at each $win level (from which ticket population count can be fairly well calculated given the posted prize odds).
Either way hope if you play some you hit nice wins!...esp in that Star Bonus area!! 💰💰...Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Cape. Good find on the image. The website did finally update. They don't tell you how many packs are left or $ amounts. We get the top 5-ish amount, but not all the way down to ticket value. Here is an example ( https://www.palottery.state.pa.us/Scratch-Offs/View-Scratch-Off.aspx?id=3131) You can even scratch for fun by clicking the mouse and dragging across the play area. Neat little feature to check out some winning combos.
I generally know every $20 roll has a $100 winner and payout from $320-$360 unless you hit a $200+ prize. If they would show total # of $100 winners left it would be easy to figure out the # of rolls printed. Sadly they do not though.
We usually get 3-4 $30 games a year. Right now we have 3 active I believe. $20 tickets can be as high as 6 active, but also seen to down to like 3 right before release.. Normally we get a $20 release one month and then a $10 release the next with the $30's sprinkled in.
My store said they wouldn't be there until tomorrow, so I have to wait. Def buying one and will post the results tomorrow night when I get home!!

Bought (2) of the $50 ticket. One from each pack as the pack #'s ended in family members birthdays. He let me pick which packs I wanted to open... The 1st ticket had $75.00 down in the Bonus section. The 2nd ticket had a $75 single number match. Def a large ticket that makes you feel like with so many chances to win that you can't lose. Well we know that's not the case. My place is now closed through the end of year, so I will stop at a different place to try another one and post results tomorrow.

Hi Omiller, thanks, and as well for the link too. Like you say with only the remaining wins among the upper prize amounts posted it's impossible to calculate overall number of tickets, and subsequently a game's payout percentage. I did enjoy that virtual scratch feature, and indeed the winning pattern that was revealed was one of the ones listed on the odds table you had posted. Just curious, does the virtual scratch feature ever change wins/results?...I refreshed it a couple times and it kept showing the same winning pattern. No worries either way.
From the ticket releases you mention it seems like PA rolls out a lot more games than does FL. For example, in 2021 we got only a single new $30 & $20 game. It appears though that FL takes more of a go-long strategy, as, for example, info published by the Lottery as required in the FL Register shows that the new $20 game (called "Gold Rush Limited") had an initial order that consisted of a staggering 2,520,000 books (with 30 tickets per book that's 75,600,000 tickets)...so games tend to hang out here for years. This to me leads to game burnout - I'd much prefer to see more games with a shorter run. Perhaps the FL strategy reduces costs involved in the development of new games, but if so it's not easy to tell if any such cost reductions mean greater payout percentages. I'll get off the soap box now, lol!

I bought one today, and won $75, but I will not be buying one again. I assumed the overall odds for a $50 ticket would be below 2.9X, but the overall odds for this ticket are 3.69, which is totally inexcusable and just greedy from the PA lottery. Odds for most $20 tickets are under 3.2.

I have now purchased 4 and had (3) - $75 winners. There are 50 tickets per pack and let's say roughly 13 winners.. I will even be generous and go with 15(until I hear of anyone buying a roll). That still leaves 35 duds @ $50 a dud. They should have added a $50 prize to allow the odds to be closer to 1:2.50..That would lead to 20 winners and less duds. At least give you a better chance to break even and pocket the $50 return, but we all know they want you to put the money back into the ticket. That means more losers to compensate the lack of the break even prize. This will be my once a paycheck period as I try to cut down on overall lottery spending.
Cape.. The website doesn't change. They always give some random winning pattern. Would be nice if they rotated through a bunch though.

At odds of 1:3.69 this game is a loser even with the $75 minimum payout.
Odds to.win $5MM are 1:1,440,000 and there are 5 top prizes so that would equal a total of 7,200,000 tickets being sold.
Hi BT3100, +1 to you, indeed with the posted odds from the odds table and known win count for the $5M prize the 7.2M tickets should be a good number. I went ahead and worked up a valuation table and calculated game payout at just over 80%. One note, like FL, it appears PA rounds the odds for upper prize levels as in the analysis I calculated odds for the 1K and higher levels commensurate with the amounts for those levels that were on the website Mon evening (see screen snip)...or perhaps the posted odds for the $5M prize is rounded and the total tickets are a little different than 7.2M, can't be sure unless a definitive ticket total is known, so until then the value table at the bottom should be close and representative, but not perfect. Either way best of luck - perhaps FL will come up a decent $50 game one day...

I got absolutely beat up on the $30 tickets. Many losers, most winners were $30 or $50 and they were few and far between. My biggest win that I recall on a $30 ticket was $150, on a 6th ticket, after losing on 5 in a row.
I really don't know that I have it in me to pop on $50 tickets. A dud would be a pretty big gut punch. A few people on my facebook are posting $500 wins. One guy bought 3 last night, one was a $500 winner. Sure that's nice. I'd be the guy who buys 3 and loses on all 3 and then feel sick because that could have been my gas bill for the month.
I have played very sparingly, but over the last 2 or 3 years I lost on 90% of what I did play it feels like.

I am now 3 for 5 and have one to scratch tonight. I always hated the PA $30's as I feel they never hit. If you buy a pack you are out $420 worse case. A pack of $20's puts you out about $240 worse case and just feel you hit better on those. The only $30's I liked were the Extreme Green(my store sold a $3mil, $50k and 25k on that one), the white one from last year and then the black ticket from like 2 years ago. I forget the names and too lazy to look, but the 30's this year feel like crap.
I generally hit 4-6 $1000 winners a year. Unless this ticket hits tonight, I will have had ZERO this year and only ONE last year.. Downhill for sure.

Well now 4 for 6 as tonight's $50 ticket hit $75 making me dead even. 6 tickets, $300 won.. This now marks the first time (in I am not sure how long) that I didn't have a claim ticket to claim on next years taxes.. Either my luck is that bad or the PA loterry isn't the same as it was 5 years ago..

Won 5 out of 7 now. Every win has been $75.. I think 2 of them were money rolls, 2 were # matches and one as a Bonus. I realize though that this game seems to be loaded with the $75... If you take the odds, it seems like there should be 10 of them per pack, 2-$100's(rounding up) and 1-$200. That would mean 13 winners @ 1150.. PA normally pays back 50-60%, so I would assume there is an extra $75 or so per pack. There is a $500 in every 58 tickets, so that's close to 1 per roll as well. It's def a niche ticket that I don't think has any value in playing them in bulk(no ticket truly does obviously). I never hit on the $30's and even the $20's today went 1 out of 4... Guess I will keep buying them here and there until I lose twice in a row. Once my store opens back up after the holiday, I can get a better track on what denominations seem to be in every pack and maybe see any trends(like winners after winners that I see on alot of the $20's)..
