"Oh, what a tangled web we weave...."
Colin,
You've had more than ample opportunity to come clean on this. Anyone with a shred of decency and integrity would have done so by now. Instead, you change your story every time you're confronted with the facts. You should salvage your honor by admitting you're wrong and apologizing to this entire forum.
The truth is that the numbers come out quite differently when the correct values are plugged in. The percentages change greatly and are not nearly so impressive as the ones you so desperately cling to. In fact, it all comes down to your interpretation of that expectation of 1.5 fives. I would realistically call that 2 fives, and that would even further narrow the disparity in the raw numbers and percentages between the expectation and the two runs. No amount of personal attacks on me can alter that fact.
I'm not here to bicker, but if we're going to crunch the numbers, let's use the right ones and present them honestly. We shouldn't be so eager to claim success that we resort to fabricating it with deception, omissions and inaccuracies. That is entirely counter-productive to the purpose of this forum.
I will now retire from this discussion. I have made every point that I wanted to establish, and the real numbers speak volumes for themselves for anyone who might bother to calculate them correctly. The members and other viewers of Lottery Post can do so and judge for themselves.
To Todd and everyone else, I apologize for engaging in such a tedious debate. That's not at all why I came to Lottery Post. In the future, I'll refrain from doing so again.
