Have you'll seen this?
In the Texas Victoria Advocate Newspaper Feb. 28 2003
Victoria's state Sen. Ken Armbrister has introduced a bill that would allow the Texas Lottery Commission to operate keno, a bingo style
game of chance popular at casinos.
Ambrister said Tuesday that his Senate Bill 499 was suggested by the Texas Lottery Commission, which hopes to replace it's faltering
Pick 3 game with Keno.
"The Lottery Commission calculates into their games a certain life before the novelty is lost and revenues begin to fall," Armbrister
said. Pick 3 has reached that point, he said.
They want to replace it with something equal or better-and keno is what they recommended Keno would be played in establishments
like bingo that hold permits to sell beer and wine.
Can you believe the Texas Lottery Commission is proposing to replace Pick 3 with a Keno game and last year Pick 3 was one of their
most profitable games. It doesn't matter if the people like to play pick 3 the only thing that matters how much money the commission
makes.
Can't believe almost every state in the US has Pick 3 all they have to do is add a keno game if they want or get rid of one pick 3 game
midday or evening. This is the worst proposal I have ever heard of and I am not playing keno.
Hope everyone concerned contacts the Texas Lottery Commission and tells them what they think I have.
