The odds are what they are. It can still be won, but the odds are what they....are. Someone, somewhere will win eventually.
You won't even buy a ticket, so it definitely won't be you. LOL.

"Wonder whut they pay thoze so-called Analysts"
I wasn't saying lotteries don't hire people for statistical analysts, but seriously doubt their primary function is to analyze past results of drawings they already said were random.

The Ohio Lottery's first drawn game was the Buckeye 300 and they had an interesting idea of a random drawing.
"One thousand balls numbered 000 to 999 were poured into the tumbler by Jackie Urbanek of Parma Heights, Miss Ohio World 1974, the newspaper reported. The tumbler was spun end over end, and when it stopped turning 10 numbered balls fell into place. Three envelopes drawn from a drum containing the results of 30 horse races determined the winning chambers on the tumbler."
Can't imagine a Miss Ohio World pouring "one thousand balls" in a giant tumbler twice a day, seven days a week.
Over the years rules and regulations printed on the back of the tickets have changed, but regardless what players call random, each state lottery determines their definition of a random drawing. Hard to believe that lottery is turning 49 and harder to believe some players are still claiming (without evidence) the lotteries are cheating. And some are saying the drawings are rigged even though it goes back to lottery rules, regs and their definition of random that players agreed on when signing the ticket.
As for overall games being rigged, "Mega Millions said $1 from every ticket sold is added to the pot of gold. The other dollar goes back to the state where it was sold.". Florida pays out about 67% of the "other dollar" in prizes but considering the odds of winning ten bucks is 1 : 693, the payoffs are somewhat rigged to benefit the profits though players should know that before they buy a ticket.
"When Science and Philosophy meet Randomness" was a great read. Hopefully it can be translated in to Portuguese.
Thanks Stack. It's a good question with a number of good articles trying to explain different thought processes. I'm still reading some here and there since it made me think.
What if people who claim the drawings aren't live but recorded are right? What if the drawings are proved complete (like the coin flip) before the reveal (public drawing)?
It wouldn't make a difference in the outcome, but it might make a difference in the player's view. A certain number of players would feel cheated, or lied to, that the drawings weren't live (in real time). And they'd likely question what other lies have been told.
Of course that hasn't been proved, and not likely to be proved since we have contrary evidence inasmuch as the lottery needs some time after the (live) draw to announce a winner or not.
In either case we'd still face the same problem. And in either, we still only have the same means to solve it.

The computer RNG drawings are not shown live. KY has a Keno drawing every 4 minutes but the results are known before the animated screen starts showing gold colored balls landing on numbers. Scanned my ticket as the drawing started and it was a winner.
Someone suggested that many people here are trying to figure out how to win games of pure random chance is not wise. Though I didn't win over $1 billion on Friday, I figured out my best chances of winning was to actually buy a ticket. I'm open to other ideas on how to better my chances and I'm pretty sure that's what Dr. San is looking for too.
If most players thought it was impossible to win, I doubt they would continue buying tickets. Based on past sales, I thought the MM drawing had a better than 50% chance of having at least one winning ticket but would not be surprised if there was none. Raising the ticket price to $2 pretty much took out systems and wheel players. And over 300 million possible outcomes won't stop players from saying they were cheated.

I don't know if Texas televises the draws or not. When it first started there was an excitement to watch. Through the years, the excitement waned and now I get the results from the site. I take a batch of 10-20 I haven't looked at to the store and scan them. Sometimes there are winners; sometimes not. I don't pay attention to the dates or games, don't look for the one ball stuff; doesn't matter (to me), lottery HQ ain't open at the time of the drawing anyway.
Got nothing against dr san. No bones about it, I don't believe he's a South American country bumpkin who fell off a guava truck. He'll start a post in good English and before he's done it's become mish-mash. Weighed the idea he uses a translator. Translators aren't perfect, but they aren't so bad a person speaking the native language wouldn't get the gist of what is being said. And can't imagine translating all the replies back to my native language, making heads or tails of what was being said (if translators are that bad), then working on a reply. Headaches like that shouldn't be allowed by law.
All in all he's a good, affable person. And he does offer some ideas for thought. I ignore some. Like his query about tracking a 6/49 in a 7 by 7 grid. My mind flashes back to the pitch count grid I put up as a lament in one of his posts during baseball season. Knee jerk reaction, that. I'm watching a game, they are showing a pitch count and placement chart and he's asking "how to." So I say, "Too bad it can't be done like this."
So now he's asking about "how to" use all these filters (Raven posted what? 52?) in a 7 by 7 grid? I expected someone to mention, "Mission Impossible" and let it go.Just sum, E/O, H/L, and pairs a Pick 3 is already passed 7 columns. A 6/49? Have I ever mentioned putting an elephant in a shoe box?
Everybody is looking for the same thing. And there are a lot of possible/best guess solutions out there. My thoughts are when we get close to a real solution the lottery moves the goal posts.
Working together three of us have produced scores of charts using different methods, ideas, and sometimes off the wall thoughts. Yes, there are commonalities in every jackpot game, (according to us). On the other hand, we haven't found anything that would allow anyone to zero in on the exact combination that will be drawn on any given night.
Anybody who has, isn't posting about it.

"Bon voyage"..Texez 2 Stepper..
You could make a random number generator from cricket chirping and it would work just as well as all your software and books.

When the Kentucky Lottery changed from televising their drawing on TV stations to streaming them, not very many players even knew they did. Even when they stopped all live ball drawings and used a RNG, to my knowledge there wasn't much of an uproar. Because this is a lottery based message board, we see more opinions pro and con for live ball drawings.
"the lottery moves the goal posts"
There was a poster that had a "recently drawn numbers" MM theory when the matrix was 5/56 + 1/46 and $1 a ticket. He posted the 28 most recently drawn numbers before every drawing, but used only one bonus number. He knew it would probably be impossible to play 98,280 lines after accurately filling out 19,656 play slips even if he could find a store willing to print the tickets. I created an abbreviated wheel with 5000 lines, put in his 28 numbers in the order he used and it showed a five number match. Not saying MM went to a $2 ticket with a 5/75 + 1/15 matrix because of the "recently drawn numbers" strategy, but they did move the goal posts.

Proof you don't know the first thing about probability.
Not an argument; it's a fact. Probability is a likelihood, not a guarantee. Look it up, or continue to be an idiot.

And YOU don't know Anythang about critical reazoning..
Your post is xplaining the rudimentz of itz conceptualdefinition of "Probability".
It iz NOT an immutable description of Any or All outcomez of the actual Mathematical process..!! Not lending "doubt" to itz derived summationz becauze of itz base word "Probable"..it iz STILL Math..and ALLMath iz .... EXACT..!!
So, itz answerz sayz ..it either IZ, or it AIN'T..
