Happy New Years Eve! Well last night saw #16 take the lead with 61 hits... Will #12 hit tonight? Time will tell. In addition, #16 has now hit 10 times in December. That's a huge number of hits for any number to have in one calendar month. That's happened in just three other months in 2022. (During October #35 hit 11 times) I can find only one month in FF5's history since 2002 where one number hit 12 times in one calendar month. I use 2002 as the benchmark year because in 2002, The Florida Lottery changed FF5's current matrix to 5/36 and they have not changed it since then.
2022 marks the 21st consecutive year that the hottest FF5 number(s) had at least 61 hits. Think that'll happen again next year? I do.
But here's the crazy thing about that -- by July 1st of any given year, you can actually see which FF5 number will finish the year as the hottest number of the year. On July 1, 2022, both #12 and #16 had 34 hits. The other 34 FF5 numbers had less than 34 hits on July 1st of 2022. I've seen the very same thing happen with The New York Lottery's Pick5 game, Take5. Take5 has a 5/39 matrix and usually by July 1st the top hitter of any year will have at least 30 hits and go on to finish the year with at least 60 hits. I saw that happen in multiple years with Take5, and I can show you the same thing happened in other states besides Florida and New York's Pick5 games too. Name the state's Pick5 game, and I can show you that it has happened.
So.... if you know on July 1st of any given year (such as 2023) that a number already has 30, 31, 32, 33 or 34 hits, then it will very likely be the hottest number of the year. Doesn't it make sense to play it regularly for the last 6 months of the year?
Tomorrow is the big day... I'll have 2022's final numbers and I'll post them here. Good luck in the new year... maybe you'll be a FF5 player just like last nights lucky winner in Orlando of $207,822.76..... Keep playing because you just don't know anything about what will happen. I'm sure the winner in Orlando cant believe their eyes this morning and never in a million years thought they'd win a FF5 jackpot. And remember this too, they're an average everyday person just like you and me who happened to buy a very lucky lottery ticket. So NEVER give up trying. I wont. G5
