I have done this both ways with $20-$25 tickets. In theory, the idea is buying at different places or at least off of different rolls that all 20 tickets could be winners. But it could also mean that all 20 tickets could be losers.
Is this game near 50% sold? Based on the number of jackpots won for $250K the game needs to hit close to 50% in sales before the next grand prize is released.
In either case, you'll be lucky to win $40 back which is what I'd expect you'd get back at best unlease you beat the odds and find someting more than $25.
Here's a suggestion for "Scavenger Mode"
1 - Ticket from a Publix front Counter
1 - Ticket from a Publix Vending Machine
1 - Ticket from a Winn-Dixie front Counter
1 - Ticket from a Winn-Dixie vending machine
1 - Ticket from a Chevron
1 - Ticket from a Shell
1 - Ticket from a BP
1- Ticket from a Circle K
1- Ticket from a liquor store that sells them
1 - Ticket from a Mom/Pop off the beaten path location
1 - Ticket from a 7/11 / RaceTrac / Wawa / Tom Thumb depending on what you have in your area of FL
1 - Ticket from KMart (yeah, Kmart sells lotto, go figure)
Find 7 other unique locations like another Publix location, Love's, Pilot's, Flying J, TA, Turnpike Vending Machine, etc.
1 - Ticket from a Super Lotto Retailer (like AK Kwik) or the closest Lotto district office
Once done record your roll numbers and see how they differ. Not that it matters, I still think $40 would be your best return.
Or you could buy all 20 off of a roll that preferably is sitting on or near Ticket 40, that way if the return is poor you won't be tempted to buy out the rest of the roll chasing for something that probably isn't there anyway. I think if you do this, you'll probably get $25 back.
