Gap strategy is a viable workout that has undergone numerous changes the past couple of years.
I use the current version everyday for 5 Texas lottery games and Powerball with variable results, but no jackpots.
The workout part you provided is an outdated PlaySheet.
Yes, it's complicated.
Winning a lottery game requires generation, study and application of many different TREND lines based on game history.
Details regarding the current version have not been posted. A deliberate choice on my part.
Let me explain.
Years ago when I first joined LP, I really didn't know much lottery games and how to attack them.
To put it bluntly, I was a dumb-ass when it came to building a strategy that would work.
Believing there was an audience seeking a way to win, I naively posted my ideas on several fronts.
Over the following years, my initial workout changed as I found new and different ways to analyze lottery digits/numbers.
Then one day I realized that I was on my own. It became starkly evident that the few LP members and visitors
who ever offered any advice, suggestion, of whatever, were motivated by personal interests.
I'm sure that there are several folks who are using my methods today for the games they play, but they don't provide
any feedback.
Maybe they think I'll want a part of their winnings - LOL
They came to LP looking for a handout, found one and went their merry way.
The main reason Gap Strategy is complicated is because it is unlike any other method ever posted here at LP.
Basically, the workout requires a lottery game to be broken into THREE parts for analysis.
Gap strategy is 'paper and pencil' workout. It is NOT a number generator per se.
In other words, the method details the generation of useful trend strings that the User evaluates in his/her search
for the digits/numbers that the data suggests have the best chance of being in the winning combination.
This presents two problems for average lottery players:
1. They have to do some work, ie, prepare and maintain a lot of trend charts.
2. They have to get their head into the game, ie, use their experience, intuition and other mental attributes to make
choices.
You (generic) don't have to read too many posts to discover that most folks who visit LP are lazy, that is, they
basically want to push a few computer keys and be given winning combinations.
Worse yet, they want 'someone else' to tell/give them numbers to play with little or no effort on their part.
I could go on and on, but it would be pointless.
Probably the main reason Gap Strategy is considered complicated is because folks evaluate it in the same way
they evaluate other workouts that have been around for years.
The important difference is that I use the power of substitution to generate my basic data sheets. This requires
the lottery digits/numbers be converted in ways that facilitate analysis.
There is no lottery math, no percentages, no sums, no high/low, no tic-tac-toes, no Vtracs, etc.
All of the procedures have been posted at one time or another.
I believe anyone really interested in having a fruitful workout should be willing to do any and all research
necessary to understand substitution and gap strategy.
If you can't stand on your own two feet - why bother.
There are, however, some refinements/techniques that I have not posted.
Again, anyone really interested and actually doing some work will know right off what I'm talking about here.
When Texas adopted four pick 3/4 drawings, keeping the trend charts current became a problem.
As a result, I made a couple of appeals for help automating a few basic worksheets.
No response from the LP audience - not that I really expected anyone would volunteer to help me out.
As I said, few if any folks come to LP to assist.
As a result, I decided it was time to take a step back.
My position now is that substitution/gap strategy is a viable workout that has the potential to win.
All the information anyone needs to make the workout less complicated is already available.
Maybe, one of these days, someone will come along who will roll up his/her sleeves and actually
construct a usable workout, with or without automation.
I visit LP often.
I'll try to answer any question, but, I'm not going to repeat myself or do the work.
It's amazing how easy it is for folks who 'don't have any skin in a workout' to be critical.
It goes on here all the time.
