Hello there, I am new to this forum and I just started playing the local lottery. The lottery I play is a 6 45 lotto and the jackpot is at 1.5 million.
I would like to know if lottery wheels really work? Also, what's the best software for this?
Can anyone give me a short and understandable summary of how these balance wheels work?

Appreciate the responses.
The straight answer is that if you don't get all winning numbers in one line, you don't get the jackpot.
Only full wheels offer the 6/6 guarantee. The best software would be the one picking all the winning numbers, eventually guessing with 8 numbers, because 8 numbers in a full wheel are still affordable. There is no such program.

Yes Salkema, lottery wheels work. They usually come with a stated guarantee or you can use a wheel tester to see what they guarantee.
Guarantees can be closed or open with a percentage of guarantee. Must wheels are closed for a number of prize tiers (featured for the highest) and open with verying percentages of cover for other prize tiers.
For example a 100% (6,4,6)=6 or 4if6of12numbers6lines may also cover 94% (12,6,3,4)=6
In my opinion the best wheel maker is also free. CoverMaster makes and tests wheels.
I'll post the link because new LP menbers can not send or be sent private messages with links in them.
There are two zips, one is the older version fully functional and ready to go, only you have to restart the Optimizer for each run.
The newer version is fully functional, but you have to email the author for the password, also free. If you don't hear back you'll have to email me from the site above.
There is a doc/instructions you should also download.
Wheels are not the beginning or the end. They are a tool to use at the right time. Other methods include starting with all the game's combinations and filtering out those that have aspects you don't believe will be found in the next draw. Or simply building lines using the numbers an equal number of times.
A balanced wheel uses the numbers the same number of times. Nice but not necessary. Like this . . .
01-02-03-04-05-06
01-02-03-07-08-09
01-02-03-10-11-12
04-05-06-07-08-09
04-05-06-10-11-12
07-08-09-10-11-12
100% (12,6,4,6)=12
Each number is used 3 times. These are place holder pointer numbers, exchange with your best picks.

Thanks for the responses guys. An off topic question.
What are some lotteries with better odds than powerball euromillions that can be played by anyone in the world?
I've seen the Irish lotto and it's very attractive to play because of great prizes and way better odds. Unfortunately, it can only be played by Irish residents.
Also, are there any legit websites to play the big lotteries online?

I'm new but from what I understand is that US residents cannot purchase or play online lotteries that are located outside of the US. I've tried a couple sites to try and play lotteries with lower odds but get denied because I'm located in the US. Not much can be done at this time since the law is in place. You can google it "Online lottery Laws" or something along those lines.

Lotteries lie by omission when they say you can't play by mail, because it is illegal to mail uncanceled lottery tickets across state lines at this time. However it isn't illegal to have them on account across a state line or to transport them yourself or by delivery service. Note I am not a lawyur so don't take this as legal advice. See the left column of this page you are reading, see where it says U.S.A. MEGA? Click on that button and read. The Au. games a while back decided to honor U.S. law, so much for freedom here or there, oh well. As for Pick3/4 you haven't found the right venue yet and when you do it's tough working out a way to pay and get paid. Don't ask as newbies can't send or be sent a link and even if we could the system would block it.

Except for really crappy games, odds and prizes go hand in hand. Odds go up, prizes go up too. Your local 6/45 game would be appreciated by many here. My Florida game is 6/53 more then twice as hard to win as your game, abet with better prizes, but what good are prizes you aren't likely to win? When you win your game, you can afford to enjoy playing larger games.
