Well, ladies and gents here's the new $50 500X. The FL Lotto tries to cover a lot of ground with this game. Here's some commentary
$25M is the highest scratch off prize ever, but so are the odds. Will be interesting to see if one pops early to spur attention to the game (which would very likely mean a big gap until the second and last one shows up), or if it will be a good half-million or so books in.
$1M odds are indeed best ever, but just under that of the $30 FRM (which is nearly sold out)
$500 odds at 1/48 are clearly best ever, but if one is really seeking to hit $500 I think they'd be better served by buying 5 $10 Madness ($500 odds of 1/136)
$1,000 odds don't compare favorably to either existing $30 game, but other mid-range prize levels appear to, even after adjusting for price point differences.

Hi Cape,
Those 1 in 4.5 overall odds are rough! I can already see people posting 3 and 4 consecutive losers on Facebook. This becomes very unforgiving for most players. I appreciate you posting the odds, and full analysis on this game.
I think I will still to the $30 Fastest Road game until it sells out, but I might get one of these in the mix along with one of those every payday or possibly once a month. I haven't been playing scratchoffs, and have been focusing on the stock market and investments.
Wishing everyone the best of luck! Thanks again Cape for breaking down the odds for everyone.

Hi Dracos, thanks, and indeed the new $50 500 X game isn't for the faint of heart. Watched a YouTube of a whole book (30 tickets) yesterday with "Nice" results of $1,100 (a $500 and rest $100s), and there was chat of another channel having got $600 back (ouch!). So yeah getting one or two now and then and otherwise treading lightly will be my approach.
Sounds like you've been well, indeed hope that continues and that you score some nice wins when you do play a ticket or two!
BTW I too have been watching markets, might be some buy opportunities with with the unfortunate current international events...

Would you prefer a higher secondary prize on the 500x than the cliche of "best odds to win a million"? For example 32 prizes of 5 mil.

Hmm, good question, MsBee18. Perhaps having 80 at $2M would be my sweet spot, but then again I'm seeing it through my own personal lens, since that would be right about enough to sail off into early retirement, lol.
How about you?

Tried the new $50 card and won $100. I'm very wary of playing these because if I lose on $50 I'm gonna be pissed. LOL
Nice start, Brock!...though yeah with wins at 1/4.5 might want to pause while you're ahead, lol.
I traded in my $500 Madness win for the 1st five of two different books last Friday, and won three for $300 total (2 back to back), so down $200. But that was playing with house $, so yeah from here on out I'm thinking 1 (maybe 2) at a time at most.

Well that was quick. Already 3 $20k, 1 $10k, and 6 $5k prizes won on the $50 game.
Good call, Oldghost, I forgot that the app updates real-time (as opposed to the website, which is once daily). As I write this it looks like north of 35,000 $100 wins have been redeemed. At 1/5 odds that's about 180,000 tickets sold, so we should see a $1M win hit very soon.
Either way I've always wondered if the remaining counts at claimer levels update only when paid, or if they update when a win is validated at a terminal.
