This is pretty cool info b/c now we can compare prize levels to estimate the number of remaining rolls so in the future if someone tries to chase a closing game and gets a list of available retailers for a particular game but if the rolls listed don't come anywhere close to the number on the FL Lottery site, we'll be able to conclude batches got destroyed.
I only play once a week when I fill up, and lately I've been playing the $20 Monopoly because by all accounts there should be $5M dropping sometime soon.
Someone with lots of time and Excel skills could do an analyis on each of the interesting games:
Example:
Based on $20 Monopoly and the prize odds and minimum prize books, it is safe to assume there are approximately 427,300 books of the game remaining from the initial 912,000 books or about 53% sold. The prizes/odds winning rate seems fairly consistent for the $25,30,40, and $50 levels.
Multiplying the odds time available prizes and dividing by 30 we can see how close the other levels come to this award rate:
$20 (2154779*6) / (30) = 430,955 books
$100 (384730*33) / (30) = 423,203 books
$200 (74186*171) / (30) = 422,860 books -
$500 (10389*1224) / (30) = 423,871 books
$1000 (5862*2222) / (30) = 434,178 books
$5000 (334*40000) / (30) = 445,333 books
$10K (224*60000) / (30) = 448,000 books
$20K (215*60000) / (30) = 430,000 books
$100K (11*1140000) / (30) = 418,000 books
$1M (10* 1368000) / (30) = 456,000 books
$5M (4*4560000) / (30) = 608,000 books
The $20 prize is slightly higher book estimate but could be due to discarding, while the $100, $200, and $500 book estimates are all hovered right around 423,000. Maybe this is the true range or there were a lot of hot rolls going on in the first half?
The $1K, $5K, and $10K prizes appear to be lagging. There should be 8-10 more $10K prizes out there unless they've been held back.
Meanwhile, the $20K, and $100K prizes seem consistent.
The $1M prize estimate of 456,000 books may look high, but the next awarded prize will lower the average to 410,000 books so no hurry on releasing the prize and this seems current.
The $5M prize estimate of 608,000 books appears overdue, as the next prize will reduce the book estimate to 456,000 which has already been passed by the other prize levels. It's possible they've held this back. It should be somewhere b/w Books 466,000 & 618,000.
On another game (the $50, $100, and $500) game, all 3 prize levels seem to indicate theres about 242,000 books of that remaining and has been pretty consistent.
Good Luck to all.
