Dracos in the first week of sales of 100x I bought some from like book 38! I’m still seeing them in 1000 range here in pensacola! But yeah something is coming I bet. Lottery loves to pool stuff and I’m pretty sure they just dropped the first big one.

Well today exceeded my expectations. Both the old $20 Gold Rush and new $20 Gold Rush gave me a decent return on investment.
Nice one Gators!
I found a $100 win on the old GR with the 2X $50 also.
I turned my "lotto play money" from $50 to $190 today, thanks to finding alot of winning tickets ($20-$30, with a couple $50 and $100) on GR and GRD. Still behind, since I started with $260 last week. What's the highest book number you've seen in Jax? I've seen a GR (1249) on the 222 range. (#2220690) here in Gainesville...that game should be unorderable soon.
Also, on another note I've noticed Publix is now stocking the $2 Week for Life game in the machine again, at least here in Gainesville. Are you guys noticing this as well? There's still 4/8 unclaimed prizes, although something fishy is going on with that game...

Good job on getting some wins in there Dracos. I've seen one store with the 222 range and a lot of them with 218-221. A couple of smaller stores are still in the early 200s.

The final top prize should definitely be in circulation based on current books out there. Last top prize was on 198, and there's been a 15k book gap on average between all of the top prizes.
Thoughts on the $2 Week for Life? I'm still shocked 4/8 of those top prizes are remaining. I'm tempted to focus on that game after the last top prize is gone on Gold Rush (1249).

I agree that the last $3M prize in the 1249 Gold Rush is likely in circulation....unless the person who scratched it threw it away thinking it was a loser.
With respect to the $2 L4L, I have very mixed feelings. The game was having top prizes claimed nearly every month up until about October 2017 when the lotto reps removed the $2 L4L from the lotto vending machines and behind the counters at Publix and some Winn-Dixies to make room for the $2 Holiday ticket. I think that at least 1 if not 2 top prizes were destroyed in this manner. Also, no top prizes were claimed after September 2017 ($2 holiday ticket released in October) once those tickets were likely destroyed. Also, here is a breakdown of the first three top prizes claimed by book:
$2 L4L
10,758
7/11/17
53,085
8/4/17
87,492
9/5/17
I believe the 4th top prize claimed on January 8, 2018 was in the upper 180k to lower 200k range. That leaves books 88k-170k unaccounted for which is easily 2 top prizes. This is also consistent with the number of top prizes remaining (1) in the $10, $5 and $1 L4L since none of those tickets were removed to make room for the holiday games. It is possible Publix and others are also storing large quantities of the books and may later put them out for sale but were not allowed to do so while the $2 holiday ticket was in circulation.
So my thoughts are that the lotto folks royally screwed the players on this game. It will likely end with a few unclaimed top prizes. I buy a ticket here and there but I think there may only two top prizes that are available instead of four. Just my two cents.

These are all off the same book. I thought these were relatively notable since the first two are $50 wins on $2 tickets, on sequential tickets. The third one is actually a $20 winner (the covered 24 is a $10). And that one was only 5 tickets after the sequential $50s.

Yah I've not been playing it as much as I used to. I actually had the first ticket off the roll and it was a $30 winner. So I'm a little surprised to see big winners (for a $2 ticket) at the end also.

So the whole "The FL Lottery" destroys tickets bothered me for a while....
Just ran into a Lottery Rep who confirmed that indeed, open and potentially winning books ARE DESTROYED.
However, once he scans them for destruction, a corresponding new book is printed with the same winning tickets in it and is then distributed.
This I can live with, lol.
I've also spoken to lottery reps, and one basically told me to stop chasing Super Millions because of all the possibilities leading to the last jackpot no longer available. (including books returned from stores closing down)
Either that's a new procedural change, or that guy was trying to "reassure your confidence" as a customer.

Hey Dracos,
Are you talking about the old gold rush #1249 last top prize of $3M ? The gap on those prizes has been around 135,000 books give or take for the prize has odds of around 4M:1 and so far 14 of the 15 $3M prizes have been claimed. I used to play that game pretty heavy and was emailing the lottery all the time for the winning ticket numbers every time a $3M prize was claimed. I do remember a huge gap around book number 500k and know the lottery skipped a bunch of numbers when printing the books for there should have only been 2,016,000 total books of 30 tickets printed yet i am finding books locally at 2,198,000 and up.
