I'll try a few, but I'm limiting myself to $100 while I'm there so I don't go overboard. I try playing some FL Lottery Gold Rush, and Flamingo scratchers today. Encountered almost all duds. I'm thinking I'll try one of the $30 Billionaires Club, one $30 Cash Spectacular, and possibly a couple $20 tickets or random $10 and lower tickets. I do like that some of the Georgia $2 scratchoffs have a top prize of $100k, and at decent odds too. The overall odds of winning on $2 scratchoff tickets in Georgia seem better than here in Florida. In fact, the odds of winning on the $5 tickets is comparable to the odds of winning on our $10 tickets. Georgia's $1-$10 tickets don't look that bad. The $20-$25 price point is a little disappointing for the most part, but the $30 ticket seems decent with the odds of hitting $200, $300, and $500 being pretty good.
@ Bke - Thanks for the info. Publix retailers sending back $20 Flamingo books could have certainly affected if the final $5M prize will be claimed. I'm going to stop playing this game since it is very expensive to play, and will eagerly wait to see if someone ends up finding the final grand prize.
@ FreeSpirit - Good idea double checking the Loose Change tickets. Also, I agree with you about Super Millions likely being a "ghost chase". With 50 books tops remaining across the state and very few active books, it will likely be on the next ending games list. I stopped by AK Kwik in Gainesville and they have a 274k, 620k, and 664k book. These aren't in the final jackpot range, although they're trying to get more books. Perhaps some of those retailers hoarding 1-2 books will have their stock removed, and redistributed. Still, at this point I realize the statistical odds of the final prize being out there at this point is incredibly low. As others like Zzplay pointed out, most likely the final prize was out in circulation, but fell victim to one of the many possibilities.
