On this specific, individual, particular, lone and singular night I was playing with BETTER ODDS. Can anyone deny the reality of this simple truth without convoluting it into a book chapter from a mad scientist?

Are you saying with all your mathematical background you can't determine the probability of having many streaks in a short term with 50/50 outcomes?
"It's like playing any other gambling game, and getting lucky in the short term."
Or very unlucky if you bet a streak will end and it continues. You're talking about streaks of 10 when streaks of 3 will get you 7 to 1 on an even money bet. Betting on streaks is a basic strategy playing Baccarat and the entire betting concept of craps is based on either streaks of passes or not passing.
When you put a five dollar chip on the red you don't "know" the results, but that's why it called gambling. If you win you can either remove your winnings or let the two five dollar chips ride and get a 3 to 1 payoff on your original bet if it's red and 7 to 1 on a streak of three. You're correct, you don't know when the streak will start or end, but you get an advantage when one occures.

With all the do-do and ca-ka boney and jimmy been spewing, I am sure they know craps very well.
If I believed for a minute that nobody cared, I wouldn't waste my time here. Shortly after becoming a member I received a PM from a poor person in another country that has kept me motivated to invest whatever time I can spare to enlighten as many people as possible about the lottery. This person thanked me for helping him to finally make the decision to stop depriving his family of a significant percentage of his meager income that he was throwing away at the lottery booths. I believe that among the hundreds of thousands of views of [just] this thread, there are many others like him that occasionally learn something from what I write.
Furthermore, people like you amuse me when you claim "nobody" cares when YOU OBVIOUSELY DO! If you didn't, you wouldn't devote so much of YOUR time trying to obfuscate the postings of people like me and Boney526. I think I know why you do it, and it really saddens me to know that there are people in this world willing to supplement their income by investing their above average abilites in projects which ultimately extract time, money, and resources from those with less knowledge or abilities. I wonder often how they sleep at night.

No, I'm here to show people through science that they should not spend any more on the lottery than their entertainment budget will allow.
By the way, in your parting shot at me in another thread that was closed before I had a chance to reply, you referred to me as a "pansy." I wonder if you could tell us just what the problem was there that caused the thread to be closed. Secondly, how could an ordinary, run of the mill, anonymous poster at LP, such as yourself, know anything about another anonymous poster at LP? Thirdly, since it's impossible for an anonymous poster to reliably confirm or deny claims made with libelous intent of another anonymous poster, all that can be hoped for is that the person making the claims explain HOW they might know such personal detail about another member. (This is something I suspect all members would be curious about.) Fourthly, from what sources have you formed your opinions of Che Guevara? And finally, just what is it that bothers you so much about "pansies?"

So you're a crusader against the evils of gambling. I lost 12 bucks this week including the $20 worth of tickets I have for tonight trying to win $200,000. Could you please enlighten me on how I could have better spent the 12 bucks. The obvious is putting it in a savings account and in about 300 years, I'll have 200 grand.
"I think I know why you do it, and it really saddens me to know that there are people in this world willing to supplement their income by investing their above average abilites in projects which ultimately extract time, money, and resources from those with less knowledge or abilities."
I've shared my knowledge with anyone asking and never charged a penny. If you invested in just a little common sense, you would notice the majority of LP are already lottery players and just looking for better ways to play for what they are already spending. There are lots of interesting ideas and some dumb ones too, but it's not my job to tell anyone how to spend their money. On the average jackpots, players are spending about $100 million a week.
You're mistaking discussion possibilities with encouraging people to play more or to begin playing. With the billions spent yearly on lottery games, do you really believe what is said on LP is the contributing factor?
"I wonder often how they sleep at night."
It's more about dreaming about winning a life changing jackpot and for 12 bucks a week they can purchase 416 dreams a year (208 dreams for 6 bucks a week). What can you buy for 6 bucks a week that could be life changing?

It makes no sense when taken out of context, but does and is logical, had you honestly quoted me. "When you put a five dollar chip on the red you don't "know" the results, but that's why it called gambling."

I'd venture to say it was locked down due to subject matter not conforming to the lottery in general or to the original post in particular.
Which is precisely why I won't engage in its resurrection here.
And I have nothing against anyone or any group of people.

If you cant afford to play. If you are desperate. If you dont have a job. If you dont have clue, then I would not recommend people to play.
As a "form of entertainment" there are better ways for people to spend money.
There is movies, restaurants, alcohol and drugs, church, charity, prostitutes, land, all of which can be entertaining and very expensive.
Personally I love to give all my money to uncle sam, so he can build bigger and better bombs, and hopefully drop them on somebodies head when they are asleep. Preferably when they are dreaming about lottery numbers.

I don't think we are obfuscating your postings. You are obfuscating ronnies goal. You offer nothing positive and If you think scientific method is necessary, then why dont you propose one? You dont see me going to the Christian forums trying to convince them that they believe a silly book about a silly snake? I let them have their raputure/armegeddon brainwash bliss.
The only thing people can learn from you is how to give up.

Pardon the analogy, but I compare it to tracking storm systems and their development. You do this long enough and you begin to identify elements in the weather that could potentially lead to a tropical storm and ultimately to a hurricane. The goal IMHO is to track closely with the aim of identifying these patterns as early as possible so you can cash in before it's all over.

BTW. If you are looking for a particular bursty formation, (as opposed the the CLFF) then you DO know when a streak is about to start, and you can approximate how long it will last.
Of course there is a deviation from the average for differing lengths, some are longer than the average standard. some shorter than the average standard.
I think thats standard deviation expected value, expectancy crowleyian kelly criterion.
