Besides maybe if you would listen to what I am saying then you all would become winners like me :)
Yeah that's right. Why do you think I found this website in the first place.
Do me a favor if you don't like what I say then leave it alone. Others might want the help I am giving them. I know Irondoor valued the info I gave him in the creating luck thread.
There are more ways to help folk then throwing cash at them.... helping them change their reality so they can have abundance in all areas is perhaps more valid. Because you are enpowering people not keeping them in bondage to you. Giving handouts to people does nothing but keep them in bondage to you.
I'd rather empower people.
There is a lot of fascism in you Manzy, "empowerment" to you is your way or the highway,
two examples:Manzy says:"Apart from that I prefer buying from some clerks over others at the place I buy tickets at because one clerk I know doesn't believe global warming exists and I would like to give a tip in the event of a large lottery win but I could not and would not give a dime to the person whodoesn't believe global warming exists. Like I said it's a small community and we know everything about everyone lol. Most folks here that live here year round are environmentally friendly except that one person. So regardless of buying lottery tickets I prefer not to do business with that gas station when that person is on shift anyway.Manzy says:" Do me a favor if you don't like what I say then leave it alone."So Manzy, if you don't believe in global warming or agree with you, one is to be shunned or silenced. This is how you think?
People don't listen to what you write, they read it.You need to remember that you are writing not speaking. This is an open forum not your soapbox, if you continue writing like a facist, you will become Manzellini.
Oh yeah, that stuff that comes out of your mouth when you breath is CO2 and water vapor.

Back on topic, I tip all who provide me with service, I like to. I used to be on the receiving end and when someone tipped me I got happy, and if tipped very well, I got very happy. I enjoy making people happy. I know money can't buy happiness.... yadah, yadah, yadah.
lol jarasan
I am a tipper myself and sometimes for no reason other than I just feel like it.
In fact, I cashed some tickets today and I gave the clerk a $5 just because I wanted to. It might make them feel good but I assure you I come away feeling like I might have brightened someone's day and what's wrong with that ?

Ya know what I don't care if someone is respected by others if I don't agree with their opinion I don't agree with their opinion. It's that simple.
Did you even bother to read what I wrote? I don't think so.
There is not chip on my shoulder and I don't have to justify myself by stating over and over again that I would or do donate to charities or help others out.
I am trying to help people out with these posts. The are drawing bad karma to themselves by making these posts about how much they have given or would give to charity. It's simple metaphysics. like the 101 kind....... actually the kindergarten kind.
Having someone imply that they are a better person than me because they "Love to help people out" in response to me saying I don't like to help people out because that means they have had a problem that needs helping out is rediculas.
I didn't say I don't or wouldn't help others out. I said I don't like having to help them out. That it doesn't make me feel good or "High" to help people out because I still have a sadness that they had a problem and I wish that they didn't have that problem. That I prefer not to discuss how much or if I would give to charities publically because I feel that is bad karma.
What do you are you people glad people have problems so you can "feel good" about helping them out?
I really wish people on forums would actually read the posts they are responding about. Geesh.
People are so conditoned it's pathetic.... Gurdjieff was right "Humans are just Robots in Search of a Soul"
People wanting other humans or creatures to suffer so they can get a "high" from helping out is criminal. And by saying you "like helping others out" that is what you are by intent metaphysically saying and creating. You are sending out energy that will make bad things happen to others so that you can help them out. Because that is what you are desiring. It's simple metaphysics.
It's time for you to all begin to start thinking differently.
"I really wish people on forums would actually read the posts they are responding about."
It's often a writing problem, rather than a reading problem.

The original question was about tipping a lottery clerk and the discussion then turned into a chat about giving.
As I already wrote, I've never won a lot of money, not even $100. However, if I did and used $20 to buy pet food for the Humane Society, why would I be any less generous than a person who tipped a clerk $10? I thought the subject matter was a good one, but it wasn't specifically about generosity, but about personal habits.
Anyway, I think these are 2 entirely different subjects.

When I win I tip my clerk. I've got (2) stores that I like to buy my tickets for 2reasons:1. they will let me call my numbers in and pay later and 2. for the social. They are really nice people at both stores so which ever one i win in that is the clerk i tip. At one store the owner will buy a scratch off and let me scratch it and give me half if it is a winner. He has given me tickets for my birthday and anniversary.

This is a good example of a relationship....

My husband and I both tip the clerk when we win on the lottery, lotto or scratch-offs regardless if we bought the winning ticket from this particular store or not. We tip 10% of the winnings when we hit straight.
