Those flat pencils carpenters use are very good also. They have a wide, flat lead in them.

Will debt ceiling be increased?
If the folks making all of the money would agree to a tax increase (small one)and then they do the cuts, I don't see the problem. The main problem I see is that they only want to CUT programs that affect the middle and lower classes of people and the rich people and corporations just keep getting richer. 70% of Americans believe that the rich should have a tax increase but who are they? They are the ones who will suffer from the tax cuts.

I think I lost a friend of 15 years.
Majority(not all) of the Women on this thread thought I was greedy, even though I was kind to her. (The ones who thought I wasn't greedy--those are the type of lady-friends I want) Majority(not all) of the Men thought I was kind and generous to her. Majority of the men took account that I helped her go grocery shopping, paid for the ticket, took her to an upscale restaurant(Her tab was $25+10 for her daughter), bought her some expensive Jack Daniels Single Barrel whiskey ($55),plus I gav

Does A Lottery Winner Really Need A Financial Expert?
In lieu of all of the scams and outright stealing going around be sure to VERIFY the person's credentials and their reputation. Ask many, many questions..relating to customer satisfaction, how many clients do you have, how long have you been in business, find out if they are having money problems, check out their lifestyle, etc. If you get any funny twinge, move on the next one or you could wind up paying for the mansion your financial planner is living in. Personally, I would hire a private d

I hope I'm not being mean Greg but you sound like the kind of person who wants to read the magazine first before you buy it. sometimes it is better to just go with the flow. I think the seminars are a very good idea. Wish we could get one down here in TN or Ky.

You have lost something special with your friend. It can be decribed as trust, honesty, loyalty, generosity and something else I just can't put into words. There is a special bond that can grow between friends that is very strong and withstands all sorts of stresses and strains. I have a friend who used my money to hit a number that I gave her (I didn't know she had played it until the next day. She borrowed my money supposedly to pay the balance on a phone bill) and the only thing I had asked f

I'm sorry, I agree with the lady. You should have given her some money. Maybe not the 100.00 that she wanted but something. Instead, you made sure YOUR NEEDS were taken care of with no thought to her. Maybe she wanted to do something for her child. I always make sure that if a person gives me a number, I buy them a ticket also or if I hit, I give them some money. You can never know what they are really going through. Taking her and her child to dinner was just further rubbing salt in the wound.
