I can't download anything either. I keep getting nothing when I type in all of those things from the microsoft directions. However I am still working on this problem. when I try to download, I get an error message that I have done something illegal and my computer shuts down. If I can ever get back to where I was, I will try to install another browser. Also, I checked and found that is the oleaut32.dll is not updated, too it can affect the performance of my computer. mine is 95 and my bro

I have found this thread to be very, very entertaining. We had the first 100 million dollar PB lottery player come from Nashville,TN. This is what happened. A girl was coming to Oak Grove to buy her a couple of tickets for the PB. He gave her 2.00 and asked if she would get him 2 quick picks, too. She got the 2 quick picks and gave him his 2. He had one ticket that was worth 100+ million dollars (maybe 97 but whatever, it was close to 100 million). He promised her that he would give her 1

Thank you so much..I was wondering how to type that in the run box..I thought I tried everything...stayed up til 1 in the morning. I redownloaded IE also had to download direct x...too many of its files were missing..I am still trying to think in my mind what is going on..I am NOT messing with the registry..I don't know anything about it..but I did go peek last night. It is amazing how we never think about our computers but when they break down they cause many headaches...what did we do before

I went to the run box and typed in regsvr32 urlmon.dll and it said file not found make sure paths and libraries are correct..I don't know anything about registry keys or anything like that...what do I do now. I have already downloaded IE6 again...how do I check the registry??

Can Anyone Help Me??
I am having a problem with my computer and need some help. I did not know where else to post this. When I click on a link, it will not open. Instead the window comes up but no address will show and it looks like my desktop becomes part of the web page. I have already defragged my computer, I don't know what else to do. I know there are people on this forum who are very computer savvy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am running windows 98, have 256K.
