The state legislature must agree on a budget. It is not just the governor . This has happened in TN before, too. So it is nothing new. They need to agree on the next years fiscal budget and it appears that no one is agreeing yet.

That is interesting..very. I am glad the man was smart enough to get his ticket out of the trash. The clerk was trying to defraud him and should go to jail.. It wouldn't surprise me if the guy who won was an LP member or at least reads the posts about scamming clerks.

Just one question..how many billions is it going to cost them to catch the on-line gamblers? I wonder if they will employ full time personnel to track down those hardened criminals or will they just give the FEDs another job.. after all they always seem to catch the folks who download all kinds of porn so maybe they have some sort of program that will put some spyware on everyone's computer and send back information...(I AM JUST JOKING ABOUT THE LAST PART)...BUT WHO KNOWS...MAYBE NOT....

In this day and age, I wouldn't bet on anyone being too busy, after all, they make money from charging people with crimes and of course, they MUST make their examples.....I am glad I don't live in that state....I hope other states don't follow but if they do, I'll just have to quit..do they say how they are going to catch folks? I mean there are people who bet on sports games a lot more than play the lottery..

It is amazing to me how many idiots think that they can tell me how to spend my money. Also it is stupid for Ebay who purchased Paypal to get into this fight when they (payPal) get 5% of every transaction that puts money into a person's account regardless from where it comes from. Seems like to me they are shooting themselves in both feet.

Tn Tea, I would go straight to the TV people. That is a serious complaint about bad, very sloppy business. Also if your paper had a column where you can write to the editor, send them a copy of your post..if nothing else, it will warn others to stay away from this sorry company. PS..YES, ASK FOR MONEY BACK..ALL OF IT!!
