Lottery-scamming brothers avoid asset seizures by transferring property to their mother
By Jason Clayworth Two brothers who were behind the largest lottery scam in U.S. history and owe more than $2.3 million in unpaid restitution and court fees recently transferred several properties they owned to their mother. The transfers from Eddie and Tommy Tipton have raised further questions about why four states Oklahoma, Kansas, Wisconsin and Colorado have yet to seize their properties. It has been about two years since the brothers admitted their role in a scam that hijacked lott

I don't think they do...if they watched ours and blocked numbers because of it they would have to look at all of the sections on Facebook (there's a bunch of them) and all of the other lottery websites too...wouldn't you think? And if that's the case how did Jordan win $1500 with just that one number he posted and it's happened with others too who only post one or two numbers...I don't see how they would have the time to do all of that in the 15 minutes they have after the cut off time and th

MUSL seeks to dismiss lawsuit over rigged jackpot
A group of state lotteries has asked a judge to dismiss a lawsuit filed by a jackpot winner who argues he was shortchanged by millions of dollars because the prior drawing was rigged by one of its employees. In court documents filed this week, the Multi-State Lottery Association argued that Iowa resident Larry Dawson does not have legal standing to sue because his claimed injury is merely speculative and hypothetical, and therefore cannot be redressed. Dawson, of Webster City, filed the l

is the lottery rigged?
Someone who believes the lottery draws are rigged, then goes out and buys a ticket is quite stupid. It would depend on how it's rigged. Eddie Tipton had friends and relatives who knew it was rigged, and it turned out fairly well for most of them. Other than the prizes being split, everybody still had exactly the same odds of picking the winning combinations.

Is the Powerball jackpots rigged by the Multi State Lottery Association? ( MUSL)
I know the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot is astronomical with a chance of 1 in 292.2 million but how in the hell the state of California is winning ALL the billion dollar jackpots including the last four ? Also, California has a numerous amount of 2nd tier prize winners of the $1 million/$2 million( PowerPlay) matrix in nearly every drawing. There are over 40 states participating in both the Powerball and Mega Millions draw games and other states can't get a piece of the pie. The MUSL lo

$1.1 BILLION: Rush of Mega Millions lottery sales prompts officials to raise jackpot estimate
No your father is not right, Mega Millions or Poweball is NOT rigged. If the Mega Millions were rigged 9 tickets would not have won the 2nd prize of 1 million dollars Tuesday night: 2 in New York, 2 in New Jersey, 2 in Ohio, 1 in California, 1 in Florida and 1 in Illinois. Also whoever runs the lottery would have never let the jackpot get this big and rigged it so 1 to 3 players at least would have won the jackpot by now. Numbers are numbers, the winning numbers for Tuesday were 7-29-60-63-66-15

Change those dreadful ping pong balls that's played because they are old and used over and over! The people who controls the administering of the balls can easily fix them for their family or friends to win and then they split the money!!What people won't try for easy money?I sti

Lottery Ethics
I don't think it matters, because regardless of whether it's AI or numbered balls or anything else, if the people in charge decide to rig it, then they will rig it. When I used to play the state draw games picked by AI here in Michigan, I did so under the assumption that it was rigged to only let a jackpot hit once a certain threshold in profits had been reached. I basically just thought to myself.. Okay, so if that were true, would I still want to play? And for several years my answer was yeah

The man who cracked the lottery
Crime story: A recounting of the biggest lottery scandal in history The file landed on Rob Sand's desk with something less than a thud. Despite holding the contents of an investigation still open after more than two years, the file was barely half an inch thick. Happy birthday, his boss said. It was not Rob Sand's birthday. His boss, an Iowa deputy attorney general named Thomas H. Miller, was retiring in July 2014 after nearly three decades of prosecuting everything from murder to fraud. H
