i check my number before i go to cash in a ticket but if the machine told me it wasnt a winner i would probably believe the machine but after reading these recent stories i would save the ticket and check it on another machine but maybe all of the machines were scanning the tickets as losers.

Nothing in nature (or man-made) can be perfectly random. It's just hard for the human mind to look at a field of numbers and tease out subtle patterns. QP is far more random than the draw machine.The bar codes on the tickets are in binary. They are probably a translation of the serial number which the agent manually enters when the machine has trouble reading the ticket.If anyone wants to see the ticket when I got the Pick-5, let me know, I'll post it also. Multiple times I have had a printed ticket get jammed because I get to eager and grab it and touch it before its all the way out and it'll curl just enough to get stuck in the machine, and once a scratch-it ticket didn't fall out, and when I told customer service, they got a key holder to open it up with no problems, and were able to dislodge my stuck tickets without any damage.
