Warning about PA Self-Service Machines
Tonight I used a self-service machine to check a ticket I knew was a winner so I could use it to buy another ticket. Take it to another retailer -- one who knows how to operate a lottery machine.They can manually type the ticket barcode numbers into the machine and redeem the ticket that way.

LOVEMEDO,I don't think you understand the difference between the lottery machines being connected in order to upload ticket selections vs. some kind of shared number pool .I will try to make this as non-technical as possible:Most, if not all, lottery machines create their own Quick Picks. There is no central number generator for all machines, and there is no central pool of Quick Pick numbers .Each machine has its own independent Random Number Generator (RNG) that generates the Quick Picks.A

Sounds like a state hasn't verified their ticket sales numbers apparently if the count is off by one ticket someone is able to take the numbers to a machine select them and if they know how to hack the machine to make the time stamp correct you can claim the ticket as a legitimate win quite the loophole indeed .
