Picked up some Lucky 7 Raffle tickets. Sitting at 39000 so we are nearing the halfway point to getting up to 100,000. I would have thought the first 100K would have been gone by now. I'll check again by Sunday, but I think flalottery was looking and hoping to get 150,000 per week if they are gonna sell out. But you could buy 10 Fantasy Fives for the same price, reducing odds to 1:37,699. Just sayin.... But good luck with the raffle. I probably wouldn't play if one came to my state - just because I usually spend a like 3 bucks a day on lottery nowadays, and wouldn't want to spend that much on one ticket.

It's exciting to scratch off more than you paid for the ticket. There are so many tickets printed for each game it's staggering sometimes to imagine winning at all when you step up to the counter. There's always hope of course, but the real chances of winning anything large $500,000 - $1,000,000 are pretty slim considering just how many are out there. I think it amounts to being at the right place, right time. I'd love to be the lucky person to scratch off an amount that reads:

I usually buy $5:00 tickets, get back 10 dollars, usually save them until i get something close to 100 bucks, i'll get brave and buy a $20 buck scratch off. Hummmm, i'll buy a $20 dollar millionair raffle oppose to $20. scratch offf.

It would be neat to see someone on this forum hit a top prize on the raffle. I'm going to buy 8 more tickets, which will put me at 75. Odds are still small, but with odds of potentially 1 in 81k-82k for hitting $1M...what the hell, why not? I stopped by AK Kwik earlier. So went to dinner with my in laws last night, my father in law is a big time gambler (casino's and scratchers). We went to a pizza hut that's right next to a big beer distributor that has a lot of lotto tix. So we split on a $50 ticket. Loser. I was tempted to buy the next ticket or two for myself but he didn't seem like he wanted to split on two more (they are going to a casino today and he wanted to save his cash) and I didn't want it to be akward if I did manage to hit $200 or $500. I should have followed my plan ,, Instead I splurged on this yesterday with some extra $$$ I got this past week Big mistake 4 tickets from one place and 4 from another = All losers This game has been a money pit for me ,, Worst Illinois game I have played I think its time for me to cut back over next month or two. skeptic, I know you already double-check, but, give your Super Millions tickets another go through. I remember reading somewhere that the games makers (Scientific Games, and the other one) that the Lottery contracts with for the actual logic, printing, delivery of the tickets are regulated to produce books with a minimum win percentage. The Lottery itself isn't so regulated, but the games companies [supposedly] are -- I have no good reference for this, but I know I've seen the info more than onc
