CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
while someone could easily create multiple accounts, they do run the slight risk of getting caught. That could happen after a big win via a verification check or if someone turned them in. (ex-spouse) it's sad that they're ending the big 2nd chance draws, but I'm not surprised. this will allow them to end slow-selling games early more easily. but i think the main reason for doing it is that they will likely get a lot more promotional value out of having a lot of 100K winners versus one big wi

Funny Scratch off tip story.
So I ask the clerk for one $10 scratch off. He gives me the ticket and I hand him a $10 bill with a $5 tip. He was so happy. Then I scratch off my ticket and hit $250. Wow party time!!! lol I hand in my ticket to claim my prize and tip the clerk $10. His face was like is that all. lol Do you tip the clerks after a big win?

I really should seek out new places. Same old small prize today. 2 Frankenbucks lost and 10x the Money won $15. It has been so long since $100 on a $10 ticket that I forget. Big Winner Spectacular used to win $100 a lot, but things have changed for the worse.

For prizes over $599, you have to file a claim to the CALottery in which the winnings are reported to the IRS and taxes must be paid for that win. If the store owners claim it on the lady's behalf while giving her the full amount of the winning, that is very loyal and generous of them to do so. Still 1200-1500 a week is a lot of expected losses per week since the returns for most of the games are 50 - 70%. The lady must have a solid retirement plan, cashed out on a huge stock option plan, or

Scratch-Off Tickets bought by the pack/roll
Very cool, and I agree that it exceeded expectations. 5 winners of $100 is pretty cool. Didn't see that coming at all! I've bought 2 rolls of $1,000 so far; the first a couple years ago with Billion Dollar Blockbuster, the second on the current 100x game. Both times were not great returns. The BDB returned only $495 I believe. Might have been $595. The 100x wasn't that great either. I clearly remember having 2 winners of $100 for the BDB roll. Hitting 5 in the LFL roll you scratched is very cool

I am glad some people are winning. I decided to give PA another shot. Spent from 3 places last night and today. Got $180 worth of tickets. The very last ticket I scratched hit $40. That was all. I guess they still throw a big winner here and there, but it is a joke. Seems like all the small prizes are gone. It was a$30 ticket, so that was the 1st win over ticket value in weeks. As an added kick in the gut, I kept seeing triples/quadruples on the clock, my bill etc. I got them all last night and

Pennsylvania Tickets M.I.A.
Good job in the X20 ticket - I had a couple small wins to start on that ticket, and then a bunch of duds before another small win. After that I switched to Mother's Day, which I have a little better luck on. Not for big wins, but winning sometimes. And thanks dr! It's great about your $1,000, and also the one Chris$ got - even the small wins are worth celebrating now.

Georgia Lottery Scratch Offs
Join the club! I said I was not playing today either. Bought 5 of those new tickets. Ended a roll then bought the #000 from the next roll and got a free ticket. I will let you guess what the others were. I did hit $100 on the $30 ticket today but gave it back buying other tickets. Bought 2 Lucky Loot and one was a loser of course and the other $30. I swear it's not fun anymore. Mostly frustration and regret. I need to throw as much money at Fantasy 5 as I do scratchers. I would probably hitthat

Thanks skeptic. I think my co-workers and I are going to buy the roll next week. We do it every 4-6 months and we are overdue. I was just on the fence whether to do the $1M monopoly or $200 MS. Odds of a $500 or $1000 prize are better in the $200 MS but the overall $1M prize odds are better for $1M monopoly. I'll post any big winners that come out of whichever roll we buy. Also, congrats on your big win as well.
