Wise words Jasefan. I'll be the first to admit I spent alot of money on Super Millions to find that one $100k win. Yes, it put me ahead by alot. If I didn't find that win, I would have been in the hole easily by $15,000-$20,000 with the amount of money I was spending on scratchers. If I were to continue spending $300-$500/month on scratchoffs, I know I could very easily be in the negative again 5-10 years from now assuming the poor returns I've been experiencing recently. (Like $40-$75 b

$10 500,000 Fortune NH Scratch game... What the...
We can only do the analysis of the games posted on the NH lottery website. Finding the games is a whole other challenge. Here's our reasons why we post all games in our reports: Can t Find the Top Game? We consistently get the same set of questions from new subsribers .they go something like this: Hey you have XYZ game listed as #1 but that game is no longer for sale ..my retailer says that game has ended! What s going on .your report is wrong! Then, the person writing gets upset

Hey Ed, Those are interesting observations. Thanks for posting the book number of your big win. Honestly, the more I think about it the more I think book ranges should only be looked at to eliminate buying from rolls where we know jackpots have been found within a certain range. For example, there's still rolls of the World Class Cash game all over the place here in Gainesville in the 50k-90k range and since I remember seeing 4 jackpots pop up fairly quickly around that range I know the

Congratz Markjo, that's an incredible win on Super Millions. So perhaps other big wins are still out there. I'm also curious where you bought the ticket. Were you the ninja who bought out all the SM books at the Sunoco gas station on Dean Rd in Orlando? @ Zzplay - There were 8 $10k prizes remaining, 3 under the combination of 10X $1000 , there's 1 2X $5000 , and 4 single digit matches for $10K remaining.

I think it is a cool gesture and shows the type of character Jackpotchasing is. Most people wouldn't even think to consider doing anything for strangers after hitting a large win. I don't consider you all strangers although I know some of you better than others; I consider many of you to be friends of mine just as I would consider someone I talk to in real life. In fact, I think I currently hold the record for meeting the most LP posters in real life as I've met about 7 people from this forum IR

I agree, I do not usually tip at all. Maybe if I got it at the same store and it was $10,000 or something. I really could use all the winnings. Do store clerks really sometimes know if a roll has a big win? Wow, that was an old post of mine dug up. Oddly I heard of more big wins back then at my stores than I do now. All my 5 claim wins have been since 2014.

People actually pm other people who win big for money? That's crazy, I'm pretty poor and hardly get big wins but I would never do that. If you wanna send me some that's cool though Dracos seems like a cool, community oriented guy so that mean-spirited commend was un-called for.

Odds are still low, honestly even pulling a $500 winner is a stretch with the overall odds being something like 1 in 1,000 during the final drawing. Significantly better than something like the Powerball, or even the regular chances of hitting $1M on a scratchoff of course. 2,500/570,000 = 0.0043% chance when you crunch the numbers, it makes sense as to why very few of us even hit something. I think one person posted saying he won $500 during one of the weekly drawings. With that being said

Nice win oldghost. The big wins on the Monopoly game are hard to come by. @skeptic - I think Jim's CPA is basically advising Jim to not deduct his losses. Basically, I think his advice is going to result in Jim paying more taxes than he would otherwise owe. You should keep the tickets and a log if you want to get a good result in an audit.
