Do people have more luck just buying one scratch ticket at a time as opposed to buying 2 or more?
I usually buy 3 tickets in a row..i like to think the first one was the ticket before me, then the actual ticket I buy, and then the ticket after me, which may be the winner! I use the machine, sometimes and buy one, then another til I win..this is called chasing! I sometimes get a nice $100 winner out of this, but sometimes I get a face vaule prize..very frustrating after say buying 7 in a row.. I alos use to buy every ticket in the machine..just one of each..most of the time I l

The problem with RI scratch offs is that the state is so small that there are not that many big prizes on each game. I still really only play the lucky times 20 20$ ticket bc there are still 44 prizes left of 20k. Only 306,000 printed at start of game and right now there are about 200,000 left or so. The odds are terrible at 1:3.89 but its the only game I feel I can win big on. I have hit about 10 200 dollar winners but usually only 1 in every book if you're lucky. sometimes there is just 1 tick

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
That's awesome for your friend. I hope he spends his winnings wisely. If I ever win the big prize, hopefully soon, I'm gonna settle down and start gambling with properties instead. I used to live in North Hollywood and worked in Sherman Oaks. You probably already know about Porto's in Burbank but if you don't try the potato balls, they're my favorite. Yesterday's plays $250 Million Spec : loss (37) Black Pearls: free ticket (07) I probably should have bought a few more black pearl

Pretty good day on scratchers today. Bought 1 of Ga Lottery Black and GA Millions and 2 Jumbo Jumbo Bucks from my local Publix. I do pretty good there but have never gotten anything over $100. $10 GA Lottery Black - $100 (bought first then played Jumbo Jumbo with my winnings) $10 GA Millions - $50 (bought with $10 from my break even win from Jumbo Jumbo) $10 Jumbo Jumbo -$20 but I broke even since I bought 2. Got a little greedy and bought about 12 of the $2 game Some Like it Ho

How about a Unified: CAlifornia, Texas, Fla, NY Scratchoff...
The states already have enough unity going on within their own cities, counties, townships when it comes to instant tickets. South Korea?? Mexico?? Why stop there? Throw in some other countries and we can all be one big, happy, international scratching family. Personally, the idea of someone winning one of the few added top prizes with an expansion measure such as yours doesn't thrill me in the least bit. Why would I want to see someone in Mexico win a prize I'm playing for in...PA??

Hey everyone! This is my first post on the sight. I've been looking around for a while but I finally decided to post my recent winnings. I've been playing for around a month or so and have done pretty darn good. My only problem is spending what I win on more tickets. So I have nothing to show for it at all. Anyway, last week I purchased a few $10LFL and won $375! Not bad at all. Ticket numbers were #025 for $100 (all $5 $10), #14/#17 for 10X star $10 and the rest were doubles, etc for the $75.

James, I buy (USED to buy until I lost $300 with one $20 winner in the bunch yesterday) nothing but $20 tickets. The difference in the PA tickets and the FL tickets, for instance the FL $20 GRT ticket that so many people have hit for $500 is this. The FL ticket is printed Over $160,000,000 in prizes from $30 to $10,000. 160 MILLION ! Probably going to be a few $500 winners in there since that amount is not that big compared to the $10,000 prize. In Pa, our new hot $20 ticket is mar

Pennsylvania still has winners out there!
PA has gone way overboard now with the streaks. 14 losers in a row on a $20 ticket were reported? I would have sent the Lottery a letter and never bought another ticket if I saw that. It's so slanted that I'm not playing much at all. The new tickets haven't been much better than the holiday tickets: Cash Crop - got a $10 on #226 and two $4 wins today Spicy Hot 6s - $10 is my max so far Solid Gold - one of those games I just can't win on, and there have been many of those lately. 1/6

Well Matt, the PA scratch offs, I can think of another name instead of Scratch that goes with OFFS, is back to normal. Bought 15 $20 Christmas tickets in the last two days. ALL LOSERS! Six, the last six in the deck from the counter, had ZIP. Even the clerk said there should have been SOMETHING in on one of them. Hadn't seen that many in a row without a $20, $40, or $50 on it. The other ones were random stores and buying two or three in a row. Didn't matter if they were early or late in the
