Drawing to be held in Hollywood
California is really trying to capitalize on this game. They are holding the first drawing in hollywood tonight. And Carrie Underwood this year's American Idol is calling the numbers. If you go to the California website they have had special events all week annoucing the launching of the game. Its going to be interesting to see what happens tonight. Brad

The first drawing for California in Mega Millions Drawing will be in Hollywood, CA starting on June 24, 2005. I want to see California win their own Mega Millions jackpot of one winner of at least 363 million or more. I don't want to see other states win.

We have five more drawings till June 24th. And if no one wins until then, the jackpot should be $50 million plus on the 24th. I dont know exactly how much above $50 million because that depends on how much California brings in for that drawing (I wonder how they estimate the jackpot when a new state joins). It will be really fun to see how the inclusion of California effects the rollovers. Cant wait.

the reason to change it is California. You can't add that many new players and expect things not to change. Look at what happened to powerball when they added much smaller states than california.

The lottery here in california is has the fix on it, there is nothing lucky about winning here. It depends on when and where they want to give the money out. If you look at the statistics every year about this time they let the dollar amount get high like this because of the up coming school year. Since California lost most of its Government subsidization they run up the amount at this time to make up for it.

California Super Lotto number frequencies
Hello everyone and happy Saturday. I'm new to this board and this is my very first post. Anyways, I rarely play Lotto, but when I do, I usually stick with the same numbers if all 5 and the mega ball haven't been winning numbers in a single draw yet. I've lived in California almost my entire life, and check their website weekly. As long as I can remember (for 13+ years), every time someone wins in California, I don't HEAR OR SEE almost 80% of the big winners.
