I will win the Mega Million or the Super Lotto
The most I ever won was California Super Lotto Plus. On one draw in 2001, I won $23 on a $3 investment. Otherwise, I'm just have no luck at all playing California Super Lotto Plus and Mega Millions.

Changes in Mega Millions
ryanm, I agree about the megaplier idea for all states except for California because they're pari-mutuel and it's gets too messy. Remeber, California had one ticket won about $1.4 million by matching 5/5 in August 2005. My request is to increase the odds by adding 6 more MBs to 52.

California Super Lotto Plus Payments
I'm still happy that California has graduated annual payments if people win the jackpot and stick to payments. I like the idea where now if I win a jackpot, I have 60 days to change it to cash value. JimmySand9, I think people from other states can buy tickets as long as they are California residents.

California Super Lotto Plus Payments
As a benefit to players, the Lottery has changed the Payment Options process for SuperLOTTO Plus. You are no longer required to choose between Cash Value and 26 Annual Payments when you purchase your ticket. You will now be able to make your choice after you win!

Anyone else thinking of Euromillions?
Shalini, the terms you read may be very much like Mega Millions and Powerball rules in the US.We have Mega Millions in Georgia but if I were to go to California, purchase a MM ticket there which was a winner, then I would have to claim that winning ticket in California even if it meant making a special trip that far if required to claim it in person. You have to make your claim through the lottery in the state where the ticket was purchased.Hope you hit really big if playing this draw!!

MM Jackpot hit at $88million
Well, congratulations to you RJOh. Your 4+0 in the MM predictions in the last MM draw made the tiebreaker difference. If you didn't get exactly 4+0 or 3+0, we would had three co-MVPs [You, MADDOG10, and me]. Also, congratulations to California for winning the MM game at 88 million, but their CA SLP has rolled to $56 million for the first CA SLP draw in 2006. I hope CA keeps their MM winnings, but hope the lawsuit in California forces them to not play MM and instead refocus on CA SLP.

Powerball Sales
The difference is probably because Mega Millions has almost double the player base Powerball has. When Mega Millions increased their matrix, the big state California jumped on board, and since California has had two jackpot winners this month, it must have finally got them on board to increase sales. Powerball, on the other hand, did not get any new states along with their matrix change, thus no new source of increased sales. Powerball has pretty much saturated the small states; it is a vic
