Back to Mega Millions for me. This is probably the longest stretch of time I've played one multi-state game - I've been playing Powerball on this run since its jackpot was only $14 million, after a $52 million Mega Millions jackpot was won.

It was nice to see the prediction page for 06/04 had my $7 win recorded within minutes of the drawing even though the completed calculations will not be done until tomorrow. Also when I used the multi-state game filter, I saw there were some categories on certain days that actually made money. I'm going to have to take a closer look at Todd's newest features in the prediction section, there may be some predictors worth watching.RJOh

PeterAdvanced: You do know that Texas joined the Mega millions lottery after the legislature approved them to join a multi-state game. They had their chance to join Powerball but decided that Mega Millions was a better fit for Texas.

With MegaBall and PowerBall having similar cash values, less out of state players have a reason to play, especially those from states that have one of the multi-state games. So each game jackpot will increase at the similar rates until one is won.RJOh

It's Mega Millions for me, since that's the only Multi State game we have in Michigan. Other than Michigan Games Windfall but only when it gets $5 million.

ND to join Hot Lotto
Well CASH will be happy to read this. If you read the article about ND's lottery starting the 1st Quarter of 2004, there is a link to the ND state website that has the proposed rules for the lottery.Within that document are the rules for Powerball, Hot Lotto, and Wild Card 2 (another MUSL game). Since ND can ONLY sell multi-state lottery games, it's no big surprise that they will be joining 3 of the 4 MUSL games.So unless DC joins soon or some other MUSL state, it looks like ND will be the 7th

Rebeckah: I believe Texas dventually will join MM (although I prefer Powerball.)If and when the TLC sells a multi-state game, than Lotto TX should go back to the 6/54 or even 6/50.

$1.4 million/$840,000 cash Wednesday 2/19. I have a hunch NORTH DAKOTA will have Hot Lotto by Labor Day; DC joins in August. Remember that ND's legislation (currently) allows only MULTI-STATE games; this means ND would not be able to sell scratchers except for the Powerball TV game show.

SMD: 2by2 shouldn't be a multi-state game since the top prize is ALWAYS $20,000 (no rollovers, even though there have never been more than five winners in any month.)
