The Florida lottery is giving away a free $2 lotto ticket with X-tra beginning June 2 till July 10th with the purchase of $5 or more of lotto. I spend $5 per drawing anyway so I like it. The Florida lottery is doing whatever they have to do to increase sales up.

Down here in Florida, we're not allowed to remain anonymous. The Florida law mandates that the lottery provides the winner(s) name(s), city/cities of residence, and the game won. I wonder if a trust can claim the ticket...but why am I even bothering to count my eggs before they've hatched?

You could be on to something. But since Florida is now the #1 selling Powerball state could it be possible that Florida has sold 25% of the Powerball tickets during that time frame? Anyone care to run the numbers? I'm too lazy and tired to do it tonight.

I'm likely a day late and always a dollar short, but today I noticed the flyer for the new Florida 6/53 Jackpot Plus offer. This feature lets you add one or two dollars to your Play or QP to increase the prize by $10 million for a dollar or $25 million for two dollars.
