FL Lottery at $82,000,000
I always thought Mega would add FL if FL joined a multi-state game. For those wondering it looks like the post-tax cash prize is around $26 million. Still a great prize considering the odds.

t GA-KY-VA Lose for Life
GA won't even offer a cash option. How can a multi-state game have a cash option in two states and be annuity-only in the third?

NC joins Powerball
The commission also wanted a presentation from the operators of Mega Millions, the nation's other multi-state game, but that group declined. North Carolina lottery officials say Mega Millions does not want additional states to join right now.http://www.wral.com/news/5579479/detail.html?rss=ral psp=news

Lotto South- Potential New Draw Days
I still believe Lotto South's matrix is too small (compare the total populations of Georgia, Kentucky, and Virginia, with New Jersey, which also has a 6/49), especially given that it's a multi-state game that could have (and should have) been offered in at least a fourth state (eg Louisiana, South Carolina). And if KY thinks the LS matrix is too BIG, why did it join LS in the first place?

Lotto South- Potential New Draw Days
Classic lotto games may continue to decline. I still think there should be more multi-state jackpot games, like the proposed Michigan-Ohio game.

Has MM Challange lost its appeal?
Yep, that's why I decided to just stick with one multi-state game (Powerball, since it happens to be in my state) instead of switching whenever one has the bigger jackpot -- the second prizes are still the same regardless of jackpot size. I still play Mega whenever its jackpot is at least $250 million though.

Matrix v population
ryan:FL _will_ eventually go multi-state.As for games being too large, perhaps Lotto Texas is. They should go back to the 6/54 game, but not to the original 6/50.

CT Powerball?
The news said that CT is going to stay with PB. If CT had left PB, I know that they'll join MM. Either way, CT wins by going to any multi-state jackpot game [PB or MM].

CT Powerball?
I was surfing the web when I came across this story for powerball on a yahoo search engine in the www.journalinquirer.com out of Manchester. It was talking about how the governer is going to have to let powerball make its changes or leave powerball and have no multi-state game. The other choice is to try and join mega millions with worse odds then powerball.
