GiveFive, you have some of the BEST stories here in LP - You can reply to ANY post and it will be funny ! And I gotta ask, does your daughter give you a hard time about playing Take 5, given the odds and her understanding of statisics. (by the way I LUV statistics, about ANYTHING, you I would drive her nuts!)

Funny you mention that, and 3 thirties came out last night. I was starting to feel like they are 'taking over' the game lately. I agree they seem to hit MORE than the single digits.

I was tied up with a few things so I just quickly posted what the results were after the draw aired online. I had to laugh when I saw all even numbers after seeing all odd. So will tonight produce a normal 3-2 split either way? It would be nice if so. I had 4 of the 5 numbers but could only manage to get a bunch of free plays. Funny how there were more winners of 3 out of 5 last night but it paid more versus the previous day. I am still annoyed that it only paid $15.50!

I learned a positive lesson today, check your tickets multiple times. So I complained yesterday about hitting 3 out of 5 how I should have had 4 as I had the 19 on every line but the 1 I had 3 other numbers on. In my last lotto/numbers run for the day, I went to the store played $21 worth of numbers. With the ticket being worth $21.50, I expected 50 cents back. When he put the ticket in, he congratulated me on the nice score since he knows me. I looked at him funny then looked at the machine. It

It would be funny if you and ONE other person won the Jackpot tonight. You would get 66% and they would get 33% instead of a st8 50/50 split! I know if happened to me I would be like ---

Yup, you summed it up pretty well. How funny is it that I posted the 1-5 and 3 numbers hit!! So should I play 34-39 tonight??? or 10-11-20-21-30? or 7-17-27-37-38?

I think #3 is more apropos for our lottory. Rebecca should go back to Cheers. She was a much better bar manager than a lotto manager. One point is her favor: she is just as funny today as she was on Cheers. disclaimer: I know our Rebecca was not the actress on Cheers. I was being scarcastic, a trait I have perfected over the years.
