I can get to atlantic city in about 3 hours in a car. Used to go there a lot and play blackjack, mostly at Resorts. While I wasn't entirely able to learn card counting, I did okay using basic strategy. Visually I find the showboat casino the most appealing. These days I been trying my luck with limit hold'em at showboat. A few month ago when I was there, a guy on the next table to us, won a 'bad beat' jackpot of over $60,000. When I was living in MA I would go to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. I pretty much stay with slots and never won anything big. Other friends I went with did Roulette and did really well. Several months ago I went on a day gambling cruise on the Palm Beach Princess and people were winning big all around me while I broke even. Went again in October and lost $400.00. Won't be going back there too soon...LOL!!!

rip thought I would run this by you.Yesterday I played a 12 spot here in mass using some of your choices and lo and behold when i checked it today on the p c I hit 8 of 12 which pays $150.00. Pure luck i am sure but I will take it anyway. lol

Jack, You're right - I didn't read your post carefully enough, because it was 3 in the morning. I did read it however. I began responding to TrueCritic and ran out of steam I suppose. I also understand the points you make. I mean, don't we eat cows that are sacred to other people? Then some countries use dogs for food. I don't agree. I think it has very good odds in your favor if you use the right tools. Since I can count cards in my head. I never surrender unless needed.Learn to count cards in your head....some think this is cheating. I don't think so...I use it has a way to narrow my odds down to what the next card will be. I'm not always right either. It's also like predicting lotto #'s for the next draw...I have never seen anyone surrender at a casino when I was playing or watching.PP
