Information Theory and Lotto
Hi there GASMETERGUY, I have been following this thread for a while now, just lurking in the background, and I want to offer you some advice. I see that you are playing/analysing Georgia Fantasy 5 which is a (5/39) lottery game. If I were you I would start looking at the Georgia Win For Life lottery game. Georgia Win For Life is a (6/42 + 1 Bonus ball) lottery game. Now before anyone says anything I can see that the Georgia Win For Life game doesn't pay the winnings for 1

lottery and math
for the last several games of mega millions and powerball i have played the same exact numbers and each time i play, this maybe a dumb question/topic, but i am going to ask anyway, i am only 2-3 numbers away on each of my numbers for being in the money in fact, if i had went up or down by no more than 2-3 numbers i would have had 5 numbers at least once 4 numbers at least 2 times in both megamillions and powerball so i would like some help developing a system based on the set numbers i play can

Mathematical Glitch
So, Guru...do you think the lottery could be doing the same thing? Misleading us. Have you read the instructions on how to play and have seen anything in it that could be misleading or could mean something totally different, depending on how you look at it? What if there are clues in the intructions for the Powerball Lottery? What if the game ticket is misleading? How to Play PowerballOn a Powerball play slip, mark five numbers from 1 to 53 and one number from 1 to 42. You can play up to 5 di

Mathematical Cost of Playing the Game
RJoh Lotteries don't give discounts for buying Powerball Tickets. We pay the full price. Yet, our members receive the benefits of playing $360 worth of Powerball Tickets for one low price of $50, since we buy in bulks of 36 Muliplays per 5 tickets. Sorry, my calculations of 14 cents were for $1 tickets. Actually, it's averages out to 28 cents per $2 Powerball Ticket. I will post the corrections on our website. The bottomline is that it's much more affordable to join a team.

How do I prove my state lottery's CGNs are fixed?
How you prove is rigged? whenever you see in Powerball combinations that have four 6's, or four 3's, or four 2's or four 8's , etc, etc twice in less than 1 month...What do I mean? if you see the combination 6, 16, 26, 36 42 (with four 6's on it) and if you see such a combination play twice in 1 month or 2 months or 3 months, then your game is rigged.... If you also see four 5's and multiples of it and by that i mean if you see 5, 15, 20, 30, and then a number, and if you see this appear 2 ti

Trying to find new ways to crunch numbers
Wish I wasn't a newbie so you could see the site I've been working on (can't post a link according to the site rules). For my base games, I have Powerball, FL Lotto, and Megamoney up and running. It pulls down the new numbers automatically and updates the base statistics for each game. I designed the framework so new games can be added with only a few hours of work (the site pulls in all of the historical data and crunches the numbers). So now I'm trying to expand the other way: What other inter

Math involving the number on the ball
Yes, Powerball has test draws and yes they are posted on their website! But in the scope of things being said here, I'm afraid hypersoniq is incorrect. Powerball does 4 test draws and then the actual (Money) draw occurs, I think that would make it the 5th draw! Then there is one more draw (post draw as it's called) and that makes 6 drawings in total that have occurred!

Math Question
When PB goes to the new matrix on August 31, 2005, what's the probability that all 5 numbers are 47 or less and the Mega Ball or Powerball is 27 or less? Under the current matrix [5/53+1/42], what's the probability that all 5 numbers are 47 or less and the Mega Ball or Powerball is 27 or less? If I'm play under the new PB matrix on 8/31/05, what percentage of time [more or less] difference will be a possible CA SLP pick than the current PB matrix for Saturday's draw on 8/27/05?
