30 Kentucky middle school employees win $1M Powerball prize, hid lottery ticket in math textbook
By Kate Northrop A group of 30 middle school employees carpooled to the Kentucky Lottery after the final school bell rang on Tuesday to collect their $1 million Powerball prize. 30 educators from a Boone County middle school regrouped after work to collect the $1 million Powerball prize they won in the Jan. 27 drawing and showed up at Lottery headquarters in high spirits. The group calls themselves the Jones 30, named after the Rector A. Jones Middle School in Florence that brought t

One ticket sold in Florida is sole winner of $1.58 billion Mega Millions jackpot
You continue to fail to understand that i think the lottery system is run by corrupted people it doesn't matter the math. Every organization from the governments to corporations throughout the world has corruption in it and you want to tell me the lottery which controls billions is the only exception. Don't make me horse laugh! Delusion is for men not women.

$935 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot nears billion-dollar milestone
It seems Mega can't never get close to the Powerball record. I'm actually waiting to see if we will ever beat the 2 Billion record. I feel this pot going to climb into the top 3 but I don't think it will beat Edwin Castro jackpot. It will reach a billion by Saturday for sure. I'll just get my one ticket with the Powerplay on my own. Not going to go crazy like everyone around the country. Odds stack tremendous against us but it only takes one ticket to win. Plus I'm in a lottery group of 82 peopl

Single mother who won $6 million in lottery opens up about the good and bad of winning millions
Or maybe it's not their math that's the problem, it's their jealousy and bitterness. Other than Jack Whittaker, I can't think of a single lottery winner who took home over $100 million who went broke, regardless of their spending habits. He expects Castro, the largest single lottery winner, to go broke because he bought 3 houses a few cars?

Florida lottery winners suspect state "system error" is blocking prize payouts
Simple math. Don't play trips or quads. That's $10 to $20 a game, or $5 to $10 per game. Simple math. In this game, conspiracy theories run rampant. My comment would be, doesn't the lottery always say, we're not trying not to pay people. Show me the money.

UPDATE: Proposed changes to Mega Millions game will raise ticket price to $5
Do you think they are copying other lottery games in other countries? Lotto Max is $5 in Canada. The odds of winning the jackpot is 1 in 33,294,800. It's not taxed like in America. I remember Lottery Post did interview years ago about how Powerball might go international too. Which makes no sense to me why they would do that. Ironically we still can't buy tickets online in every state like other countries can. They can remain anonymous. But they want to make it international? Europe has Euro

$865 MILLION: Powerball jackpot reaching historic levels
I've been playing for 20 years! I'm happy if I just matched the 5 Mega ball with Mega Plier and go off into the sunset. For the life of me I don't understand why people will still play after winning $10 million or $100 million jackpots from the lottery. I know several people who won millions of dollars but they continue to play. Don't they know they beat tremendous odds. Hey but their stories of people who got struck by lightning twice in the same spot. I seen some crazy odds of like 1 in a tril

New Mexico lawmakers introduce bill to end lottery
What a Cretin! Research shows that lower income folks spend a much higher percentage of their income on lottery tickets, McQueen continued. How did someone as moronic as McQueen get elected in the first place? It's called MATH! Not reasearch. If an 18 year old kid makes $500 on a summer job and spends $500 on lottery tickets then they spent 100% of their income on tickets. According to information from a google search the median income in New Mexico in 2022 was $51,243 so if

$835 MILLION: Powerball jackpot set to deliver ultra-wealth
Totally with you on this one. Despite all the math, if I won and did not have the power play on, I would be like, come dude. snip it. This post has been automatically changed by the Lottery Post computer system to remove inappropriate content and/or spam.

One ticket sold in Florida is sole winner of $1.58 billion Mega Millions jackpot
I built an algorithm. Every lottery doesn't matter which one uses a sequence of 2 sets of 2 digit numbers which builds out a column of 6; 2 digit numbers. You will have a constant and a coefficient. It's still a work in progress but just know if they don't won't you to win, you will not win. Why do you think the cut off time is at 10:00 p.m. eastern and the dRaW is at 11:00 eastern??? I'm no math mathematician by any sorts, just a pissed off FF that's tired of working 2 jobs. It really sucks
