How does one use statistics to help win?Reply
I have toyed with the idea of 42 lines, restricting the first 20-25 lines to a select group of numbers and opening the rest up to all the numbers and playing all 42 powerball. I've posted those results in the jackpot section with JADELottery's PowerBall picks for the last two draws. If there are no winners this Wednesday, I may try the idea out for real Saturday.RJOh

Maybe a mind full of chaos is what is needed!I don't keep powerball data before the change to 5/53 + 1/42. If you have indeed found a way to relate all 3 results (PowerPlay, Powerball, White Balls) that would really be something!I have kept this data separated. I have never won more than $100 this way (and that was only ONCE)... $2400 in the Illinois lottery, 5 number match on Lotto a few years back. Ticket was a quick pick and was played over several draws. $100 in PowerBall back when GA had PowerBall.$360 on a scratch off a few years back.

can't find one, most member state's FAQs have limited outdated info on when they used the old Beitel Criterion machines instead of the current SmartPlay Halogen ones.What better place to ask than the source? JimI have also been developing lottery software and recently found this board. I have been searching for algorithms and methods to incorporate into my program. I use C++ and VB as my primary languages. I am willing to correspond with anyone who wishes to exchange ideas and methods. I will admit that the games I am concentrating on at this time ar the pick5 and pick6 games without the powerball - that powerball is the devil in disguise. Grendel
