Why doesn't Utah have a lottery...
I don't understand this, Utah has a famous basketball team, the Utah Jazz and how come they don't have a lottery... Not only Utah but Nevada, Arkansas, North Dakota, Mississippi Alabama do not have a lottery...Why is this... if all this states have lottery i can't fin them on the internet....

I live in the extreme S.E. part of Iowa,near the Missouri Illinois border on the Mississippi river and Des Moines river.We've been getting a lot of rain,but because the town sets on a bluff we aren't getting much flood damage.We can't get to Missouri because the Des Moines river is over the roads in Missouri.We can't get to Illinois for the same reason.North of us about 40 miles or so,the Skunk river is out of its banks (or so I've heard).We are an island surrounded by water.This happens every f

well..I have a story kinda like this but not much I can do about it..I live in Mississippi ..we have no lottery..but every once in a while some friends will go to Louisiana to purchase tickets for a bunch of people..so they were going 3 weeks ago and I played some numbers for pic 3 and pic 4 for the whole week..I played some pic 4's straight and box and double checked them amount before I put them in the envelope for the carrier to take.. when I get my tickets back that afternoon the car

mech2009, You're right about Miss. not having any type of lottery - scratch games or otherwise. It's a crying shame, because having spent a lot of time in Mississippi myself, I know the folks there would really enjoy a lottery. I know the casinos wield a lot of power, but I'm really surprised the legislature doesn't come together and make it happen. A lottery would be greatly beneficial to the state. (And fun for the residents.)
