You still have to get the 1st and 5th position set. Eventhough you deal with the middle three P2,P3,P4 as three number picked Pick 3 lottery, at the end you have to deal with 1st and 5th position. When you play, you have to set 1st position and 5th position number.

That is true. But people who claim they win big money usually are people who spend a lot of money to get it. Nobody wins every day. I venture to say that people who cash in big on Pick 3/4 spend more than just a couple dollars. I've been to the store watching people spend easily over $100 on combos, scratch offs etc.. I don't play those. I only play 5/39 and not every day. Maybe 6x a month when I feel it's right. I just hit within this week 4/5 twice and collected $1300. It's not a lot but odds

I thought most lotteries have some pre-tests and Texas is one of the few that publishes. In any case yes, including pre-tests 600 draws would mean 3000 combinations. You can see the difference in the Texas Pick 3 forum where system choices often fall in the pre-tests. G

profitability if in a two week span If I have over 35 pairs that hit ..... 20 pairs or less in any state There are 1070 pick 3 drawings in any two week period and at 20 picks in each drawing that's 21,400 picks. The hit ratio is 0.1635% and assuming you're betting $1 on each pair and each hit pays $50, you'll lose almost $19,000. I'm guessing you probably have a much better playing strategy and a very important detail if you want to know if that will make substantial returns.

Hahaha, I totally love your perspective, especially the part on sharing it would be taking money out of their pocket. The idea that if another person wins on pick 3, it does not impact the amount you would win since it doesn't get split is a very solid point. I can therefore conclude that we could have folks who have systems geared towards the bigger jackpots, but that they prefer to use the same at a personal level. I got a jackpot system, I did not develop it thou I use it a lot.
