Not enough thoroughbred players around here...
No, I just play pick 3 and pick 4. Last year, I did pretty good, this year, :-( I've had more misses than hits. I think someone has a mojo on me, lmaooooooooooooooo. Yeah, Downtown St. Louis, I forgot the name of that Hotel, but, it's nice, and they have a lot of nice places to eat, etc. And, you know that hotel is where this guy killed his wife for the insurance money. :-( it's was on that crime show. Yes, St. Louis is popular for crime. But, I hope you had a safe and enjoyable

Going away for awhile
Hey Chris, I am also living in Georgia and saw this story on the news. When I heard this I just thought how horrible some people are. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, and I hope that catch the goons that did this horrific crime. It's so sad, that people work so hard in life for their things and lazy, senseless people come along and try to take what others have worked for. It makes you scared to have anything in life worth anything. Please try and be strong and know that God

Taking lotto slips is a criminal act?
No I don't think it's an actual crime to take playslips and bring them back. However in some stores people take too many and don't return so I guess the owner gets angry about having to refill the box. Do owner's have to pay for the playslips?? Or does the state send them the slips for free?? It just depends on the store owner I guess. I've been to some Gas stations where they get angry if you take more than a few minutes to grab something and make a purchase. I guess it's the owners perception

convicted felons and jackpot winnings
I think it sometimes depends on the situation.. someone can be convicted of something like their grandchild downloading too many songs vs. someone who axe-murdered 50 people. Money from the jackpot should go to pay legal fees or victims' families or support of children and family of the convicted. In any case as long as the ticket was bought with money that was not involved in a crime then technically a felon should be able to claim no matter what unless the Lottery makes clear rules that felons

a rumor...don imus to join a state lottery for work
Guesser Writes: Sooooooo...... You are on the bandwagon that has tried and convicted the Duke boys I take it ? What about their lives ? Gee, what if they are innocent ? Again, someone on this board who likes to take a few words from a post and use them to serve his own agenda. Did I say that? Did I say they were guilty? I just reread my post and this is what I read: No matter what really happened at Duke, it is a sad time for women. It hurts every victim of violent c

True personal story (getting ripped off)
Who paid the taxes on that ticket? In Ohio, to cash a winning ticket over $599, you have to show proper I.D. and fill out and sign a form with your SS# and address so you can be mailed a W-2G to file with you taxes. Putting false information on that form is a punishable crime. If the store owner had to pay the Federal and State taxes on that $1000 ticket and you didn't, who scam who? RJOh

Florida Multi-State
Just a guess on my part, but I voted no. Although he is our new Governor-elect, Charlie Crist isn't that new since he's been the Attorney General and a strong Bush supporter. Right now he has a lot more important issues to deal with and has been appointing his staff which mainly consists of political advisors who were already serving under the current administration. Only time will tell, but I think the serious crime problems, especially child predators, and the increase in insurance rates (1
