What actually happens when you win the lottery.
It depends on the state. Arizona, for example, says it will take up to 15 business days for you to receive your money. And they will not direct deposit. You must take a check.

Math Police for State's using Computer Draws
Apparently not, as they keep messing up over and over again. What I gather is that the lottery buys these draw machines from the vendors, who teaches them how to operate and maintain them, and then gives them a number to call if something goes wrong. But after they leave, the lottery is left to their own devices. Do they have an on staff statistician regularly analyzing past results for anomalies? Maybe, but probably not. All the mathematical and programming expertise is on the vendor side

What's the farthest you have drove to play a lotto game?
Since the closest point to the nearest lottery state for me is Arizona which is a 5-6 hour drive each way, I'm more than content with our own games plus Powerball and Mega Millions. So, I guess the answer is 1 mile to my two favorite liqour stores in town...

Mega Millions $1,000,000.00 Winners Without Megaplier
2 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $1,000,000 prize: 1 from Arizona and 1 from Maryland. The megaplier was X5 again. Both players could have won $5,000,000 if they had added the megaplier for $1.00

Two Quick Picks from Same Store for Same Florida Fantasy 5 Drawing?
That's right. A month or two after the Texas Lottery kicked off, there was a man downstate that got two identical QP on the same ticket. I've also read about more extreme cases, one in N. Mexico where a guy got something like six identical QP tickets and one similar case in Arizona, but I believe both of those were terminal/computer glitches.

Out of State PB
Interesting question because how much you pay in state taxes depends on where you buy your tickets. If you buy your ticket and win in Florida where you live, no state taxes, but if you buy a ticket in Arizona and win it's 5% in state taxes.

Do some people not care how much they spend on lottery and feel it will be worth it if you win?
shyguitar dont look back and regret, thats what people do on their deathbeds. You got to learn and move forward. I was heavy on scratch tickets and being from the same state as you, I know how those brightly colored cards call out your name from behind the counter as you pay for that AriZona Green Tea drink (I like it). But I had to stop myself because I was heading nowhere. Take advantage of MA lottery bet slips advanced play feature.

If a store offered Quickpicks as rewards, would you shop there?
Quickpicks are cheap and most of them are losers. I'd rather they offered me a bag of Lays chips + Arizona drink. My fav snacks

Arizona The Pick List of Winners
vNow your using the word who and if your looking for names and addresses you should try lottery HQ. I don't know if that info is a matter of public record, but I'm sure they will tell you if it is. Sorry, Ronnie316, if I wasn't clear in my OP. What I meant by winners ( not the winning numbers, I know how to get that ) would be he names of the actual six pick winners, in State of Arizona, in that specific Six PIck The Pick Arizona Lottery. Between the years 1992- and 1999. I've done this on
