I had the strangest feeling that New Jersey would win.
Oh, ok, never mind about Nevada then. I guess we better put all our money on Utah, Wyoming, Alabama and Mississippi then.

I had the strangest feeling that New Jersey would win.
I thought for sure it would be either Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Mississippi or Alabama. Oh well, maybe next time.

Strange question about Lottery vs Economic Collapse
I would put my money into guns, bullets, heritage seeds, survival gear, Plus an air boat with a stockpile of gas and head for the swamps in the mississippi delta region. Water leaves no tracks.

7 States I Would Not Live In
LOL! I used Hawaii because the other two warm weather non lottery choices are Mississippi and Alabama. It gets pretty cold in North Dakota and in the Summer time too.

Should lottery retailers have money on hand to pay winners with?
I can tell by most of your answers that most of you live in urban areas.I live in a medium size town here in Iowa and can usually find someone to cash a lottery ticket. My complaint is with the state of Illinois, across the Mississippi river from my home. This IS NOT an urban area. The county has several small towns of 3-4,000 people. The nearest town of any size (in Illinois) that wouuld have a supermarket is 50 miles away. The nearest lottery office is in the state capital of Springfield which is a

And a casino only 45 minutes away in Atmore. As well as the dog track off I10. Also, living close to Alabama my entire life I know Alabama pretty much does what Tennessee does only a few years later. So a lottery is possible. Just have to wait on the next demo governor. As for Mississippi... Forget it. I think the casin

New State Lotteries
This comes up here from time to time. Any word on what will be the next state to get a lottery? Are there any that are on the brink? Last I checked we still are waiting for Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming.
