So what kinda house would you buy??
Turn-key sounds like the best because dealing with renovations and builders can be a nightmare. Been there, done that, no more thank you! I'd not want anything too grand or posh though because that's not the way I am. Single-storey, overlooking some sort of natural or green space (i.e., golf course, wilderness, ocean, lake, etc.). I love wood so the house would have lots of that - solid wood floors doors, lots of wood mouldings and wooden framed windows - all clear stained, not painted. T

Wondering if I should go back to buying scratchers?
Thanks for the post, shyguitar. I feel it's worth it to play both....regular lotto tickets and scratcher tickets. As far as worth it to gain more $$ . . . I have my doubts. I play for fun only. No matter how you decide to play, the odds against winning are enormous to say the least. However, it's also true that somebody will win if they keep buying tickets. Perhaps that somebody will be the olplugger, or shyguitar. Lottery for me is purely a hobby with the potential of some return. Others may

First major purchase after winning it all?
A small ranch/ranchette w/ live water and plenty of trees, close enough to a decent sized town to go in for groceries and dining, but far enough away from neighbors to be private. I'd prefer it to be at the end of a dead-end road and if if I saw someone driving towards my property, I'd know they were coming out to see me, were lost or they didn't have any business being out there. I also want the mineral rights or most of them or the executive rights to allow drilling (or not) I'm not opposed to

What would you invest in?
For me, I will see roughly $188M after all taxes tithe has been paid. $100M will go towards muni-bonds. Fully non-taxable and pays from 4-6%. Being as the income at 4.5% would be $4.5M/yr, and my budget will be 1.2M per year (give or take), I will continue to reinvest the remainder. Over 26 years of compound growth, I will have $255M after spending over $1M/yr. Then, with the remaining $88M, $15 towards new house, cars, furniture, etc. $40M trust fund for my kiddo $10M to play with in the

How much would you spend? [POLL]
Why do poor people ask questions about luxury homes that they know nothing about? The house Tiger Woods lives in cost $60 million, and I'm getting one near that.. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1364311/Tiger-Woods-60m-Florida-mansion-running-track-golf-course.html

Odds on Odds
I noticed you like to use that word variance...how do you mean by that?2 BTW...Lebron James is aka KING JAMES...you must be into golf or something... Lebron James is to basketball...what Tiger Woods is to putting... What is the variance of a bet?? How do you determine the predictability of this random phenomenom?

Rule regarding multiple winners
Persons with integrity (often immigrants or low income bracket type will qualify ?) It is the banker class that may run away, correction will run away with group play money, if anyone. Yeah, right, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh. That makes perfect sense. I'm scared of bankers anyway. They could go off at any time and beat you to death with their golf clubs.
